    Comfortable stay with attentive staff

    This was our second visit, and once again, we felt very happy and at ease during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. We were feeling a bit under the weather, and Momo offered us some local remedies without us even asking; he just noticed. Our young children were made to feel welcomed, with all the staff showering them with attention. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, boasting beautiful ocean views. The breakfast options were excellent. It truly felt like a home away from home. A special thanks to the owner for prioritizing these aspects.

    Great hotel with stunning views

    This hotel is fantastic, featuring spotless rooms and a staff that goes above and beyond. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the breakfasts were quite good. We also enjoyed a complimentary large and delicious dinner, which was a nice touch. A special thanks goes to the hotel owner for that! Mo-Mo, who is the heart of the hotel, made our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a getaway!

    Great Stay with Helpful Manager

    This contemporary hotel sits right by the water and offers cozy rooms with a convenient stroll into town. What stood out most was the manager, Janith Chanuka, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, providing us with valuable travel suggestions for our onward journey.

    Beautiful hotel with great amenities

    This hotel is fantastic, featuring a stunning view and direct access to a private beach. The gorgeous pool has a breathtaking outlook over the water. Recently renovated, the rooms and bathrooms are really nice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive.

    Comfortable stay with stunning views

    Our time at Grand Samudra was wonderful. Momo and the staff worked hard to ensure we were as comfortable as possible. The room was cozy and was cleaned to an excellent standard every day. I would definitely recommend staying here. Just wait until you experience the stunning view from your room!

    Exceptional service at this hotel

    I can’t recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough! It truly is a treasure and deserves recognition as a four-star with five-star service! The rooms are clean, the beds are large, the bathrooms are roomy, the pool area is excellent, and the view from each room is stunning.

    Great stay with lovely views

    We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was fantastic, offering breathtaking views. It was tidy and cleaned every day. The pool was delightful, and the breakfast was top-notch. The staff, particularly Mo Mo and Janith, were exceptional hosts. It's just a short stroll to the center, and there are fantastic restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place. They even assisted us with a taxi for our onward journey at a very fair price.

    We really enjoyed our time at Grand Samudra Tangalle. The hotel boasts a fantastic location set in lovely surroundings. Our rooms were spotless, cozy, and impeccably maintained.
