    Exceptional stay with outstanding hospitality

    My partner and I just wrapped up a fantastic five-day stay! From the moment we arrived and were greeted with fresh coconut water and a flannel, the level of hospitality we experienced was truly impressive. The food was outstanding, featuring fresh fish caught daily and expertly prepared by the talented chef. Each dish was delicious and healthy, with generous portions that exceeded our expectations—better than our favorite dining spots in London. The quality of the food is well worth the price, which is quite reasonable given what you receive. The setting is stunning, right by the lagoon where you can hear the waves from Tangalle Beach and enjoy the cheerful sounds of birds throughout the day. Nature surrounds you, with parrots, chipmunks, and even water iguanas coming to the lagoon's edge for food. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with fresh sheets and towels provided regularly during our stay. We also took advantage of the onsite massage service, which offered a range of high-quality treatments. However, what truly made our experience memorable was the care and attention from the hotel staff. They were exceptionally generous, ensuring we had everything we needed and even anticipating our requests—like when they brought us incense to ward off mosquitoes while we were relaxing on our balcony at dusk. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this place more. The location is serene and beautiful, the food and accommodations luxurious, and the hospitality is top-notch. Plus, you get all of this at a great value. You won't regret visiting this place!

    Our experience was absolutely delightful! The owners are genuinely kind and attentive, always checking in to ensure everything is going well. I highly recommend their menu; we enjoyed everything we tried. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it an ideal location for those looking to work remotely. I look forward to visiting again someday!     Serene getaway by the lagoon

    This location rests along the calm shores of the lagoon, providing a truly peaceful atmosphere. The property’s overall quality is remarkable, and the hospitality from the staff is genuinely impressive. From our arrival to our departure, the entire experience was smooth and very satisfying. The breakfast was fantastic, featuring a great selection and high quality. Every staff member we encountered was polite and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable. The property is kept in excellent condition, and the Wi-Fi connection is dependable and effective. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating escape by the lagoon. It certainly offers an experience that goes beyond expectations.

    Exceptional Experience with Warm Hospitality

    On February 14th, 2026, the three of us dined at the restaurant, and it truly surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and hospitality that’s hard to come by. Talil and his wife are natural hosts—kind, welcoming, and truly invested in making sure you feel at ease. They cultivate an atmosphere that feels more like being a guest in their home than just a customer. The food was outstanding. The seafood we sampled was cooked to perfection, showcasing the right texture, rich aromas, and a harmonious flavor that emphasized the quality of the ingredients. Each bite was filled with depth and freshness, and the presentation was sophisticated yet not overdone. It was evident that a lot of care, passion, and respect for gastronomy went into every dish. We had a fantastic evening savoring great food, enjoying a cozy setting, and interacting with people who are genuinely passionate about what they do. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

    Beautiful stay with minor payment issues

    Last month, we spent two nights at this lovely resort while exploring Sri Lanka. The place is stunning, with our spacious and luxurious room featuring a very comfortable bed and a perfect bathroom. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner daily, and all the meals were absolutely delicious, served in the restaurant on the top floor, which offered a lovely view of the trees and gardens. We also took advantage of the free kayaks to cross the Lagoon to the beach, which was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this resort. The only reasons I didn't give it a full 5-star rating are that we were asked to avoid card payments, necessitating a lengthy trip to Tangalle to withdraw sufficient cash, and the breakfast price of $18 was much higher than the $5 listed on booking.com, which we had to negotiate. Overall, though, I highly recommend this resort and believe it offers excellent value for money.

    Amazing stay with beautiful views

    I can't recommend this place highly enough. We had a fantastic stay and genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. Our room offered a stunning lagoon view and was very clean and spacious. It was a delight to see the water monitors around the lagoon each day. The food was incredible; we particularly enjoyed the Sri Lankan prawn curry and ended up having it for breakfast every morning! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more memorable. The massages available were also very soothing and came at a fair price. Thank you once again for such a wonderful stay! :)
