    Lovely beach location with minor issues

    The location is fantastic, situated right on the secluded and peaceful Marakolliya beach. The room is beautiful and features a charming outdoor garden shower. At night, the sounds of nature and the ocean create a wonderful atmosphere. Although the waves and currents can be strong, you can still walk to the sea near the Mangrove Chalet restaurant for a swim. They were also accommodating by letting us leave our bags after checkout while we enjoyed swimming. Room service was offered to clean the room and sweep away any sand, and we were greeted with a welcome drink. Some staff members were friendly, adding to the experience. However, breakfast was just okay and not particularly impressive. Additionally, some of the staff could have been more friendly and informative; for instance, they didn't share breakfast times or mention that you need to order Sri Lankan breakfast a day in advance.

    Great location but insect issues

    The location is fantastic—very peaceful, and the beach is well-maintained! The service was quite attentive, but you really need to be a true animal lover, as our cabana had a lot of insects. We’re accustomed to seeing the occasional ant or gecko in other places, but the amount of insects in this cabana was quite overwhelming. As a result, we didn't feel it provided good value for money.

    Idyllic stay with excellent service

    We thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay here. The location is beautiful, and the service was outstanding, whether it was for meals or arranging tuk-tuk drivers in Tangalle or a car to Mirissa! Being a bit away from the city was ideal for enjoying peace and quiet, along with the soothing sound of the waves at night! They were very flexible with our arrival and departure times. Thanks again!

    Great stay with friendly service

    Our stay was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty too, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfast.
