    Charming Family-run Stay Near Beach

    This lovely family-operated accommodation is perfectly situated near the beach, a supermarket, and various restaurants. They offer bicycles for rent and even have a tuk-tuk available for hire for your transportation needs. The breakfast is incredibly tasty and satisfying enough to last until dinner. The vibe here is very relaxed and easygoing. The owners are warm and accommodating. Overall, it's an excellent value for your money! I truly enjoyed my stay!

    Great stay with wonderful hosts

    I spent a couple of nights at Sea Bay Inn in Tangalle after seeing all the fantastic reviews, and now I see why they were so positive. The hosts, Marnee and her son Ruhan (hope I spelled that right!), were incredibly welcoming and made my stay comfortable, especially since I had a job interview and needed things like an iron and breakfast brought to my room. Their attentiveness really made a significant difference. The rooms are spacious, featuring a large bathroom and quality furniture and beds. The inn is situated on a hill, away from the city center, in what feels like a more upscale area. I felt very secure walking around there at night. There are several good restaurants nearby, and the nearby 'Red Beach' was perfect for a swim. The breakfasts were also outstanding, a sentiment echoed by other guests. Overall, I'm really pleased I chose Sea Bay Inn during my trip to Tangalle. It stands out as one of the best homestays I've experienced in Sri Lanka. Thanks to Marnee, Ruhan, and the rest of the team for your amazing hospitality! I truly enjoyed my time there :)

    Welcoming family-run hotel experience

    Right from the start, we felt genuinely welcomed. The family that operates this hotel truly stands out as some of the most compassionate and attentive hosts. They really go all out to ensure that every guest feels at ease and at home, always greeting you with a friendly smile and sincere hospitality. The location is fantastic, breakfast was delightful and thoughtfully prepared, and the rooms were snug, tidy, and very comfortable. You can genuinely sense the love and commitment that the family invests in this establishment. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm, inviting, and unforgettable stay.

    Great stay by the beach

    This place boasts a fantastic location right across from a peaceful little beach. The family who runs it was incredibly welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed—from extra towels to a ride to our next destination, all at a very fair price. The breakfast was delightful, the rooms were spotless, and the showers were nice and hot. I highly recommend this spot!

    Peaceful retreat near the ocean

    The location is only a few minutes from the ocean, yet it's tucked away from the main road, featuring a garden and surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of birds. The bed was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was abundant and delightful. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Wonderful stay at Sea Bay Inn

    We had a fantastic experience at Sea Bay Inn. Ruhan and his family were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our room was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and felt secure, while breakfast offered a wonderful variety of Sri Lankan dishes. The inn is conveniently located near the town, though Ruhan often provides tuk-tuk rides, and the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. There are also some great restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back. Martin and Sheila.

    Charming family-run stay near the beach

    This lovely spot is managed by a friendly family. Manelle (apologies if I've misspelled it) and her husband are always eager to help and ensure you feel at home. The location is fantastic, just a two-minute stroll to the stunning Bay beach. Each room offers a sea view and a nice outdoor relaxation area. The accommodations are spacious, immaculate, and equipped with good amenities. Breakfast features a mix of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with generous portions and fresh fruit, plus some really nice coffee. A big thank you to their son, Sasiru, who helped us by checking the train schedule from Beliatta to Colombo and even drove us to the station on time in the morning using a tuk-tuk. They also prepared breakfast for us earlier than normal, which we really appreciated.🙏 We definitely plan to return here in the future. 😍

    Exceptional hospitality in Tangalle

    Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. This family-run establishment is very well-kept. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was large and clean. All the essential amenities were provided. They even treated us to a complimentary breakfast, which was delicious, prepared personally by the owner. Additionally, they helped us rent a car at a lower cost than Uber and Pickme. The beach is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. We are truly grateful for their wonderful service. Tangalle will always be remembered for these fantastic people.
