The best Sri Lankan food I've enjoyed during my month of traveling here—absolutely wow. The restaurant has a gorgeous atmosphere and the family that runs it is incredibly warm and welcoming. I can't recommend it highly enough! 🫶

The food here is fantastic, the atmosphere is lively, and the staff are wonderful. I dined here every day for dinner. They offer fried rice and curry, which can be made gluten-free if you request no soy sauce! I highly recommend this place.

While en route to another restaurant, we were drawn in by the charming and romantic lights of this place. It looked so cozy, and after glancing at the menu, we decided to give it a try. With soothing music playing in the background, we enjoyed our final dinner in Sri Lanka here. The staff was courteous, and the food was freshly prepared right in front of us. It felt like a family-run establishment, and we were happy to support them in some way. We ordered the grilled seafood and noodles with chicken, seafood, and egg, along with a fruit salad topped with ice cream. The ice cream could have been a bit cooler. I highly recommend this place!

Southern Wave offers the most genuine and soulful cuisine in all of Sri Lanka! It's managed by a truly sincere and hardworking retired officer who personally cooked for us, infusing each dish with so much love! No matter where you are in Sri Lanka, I strongly urge you to make the journey to this place!
