    Great hostel with some humidity issues

    Overall, the hostel is quite nice. The activities offered are enjoyable, the staff is really friendly, and the location is fantastic. However, while the dorms are decent with features like lockers, plugs, and A/C, I struggled to get a good night's sleep due to the overwhelming humidity in the room. I can’t speak for the other dorms, but the one on the ground floor next to the reception felt perpetually damp and humid, lacking any ventilation. Additionally, the dorm was dusty, including the storage locker. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean and well-equipped!

    Comfortable stay with great amenities

    I truly fell in love with Madiha and this hostel. I could easily spend months here. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and there are some fantastic amenities like the pool, daily yoga sessions, and a rooftop bar.

    Stylish and Comfortable Hostel Experience

    I had a fantastic experience at Spindrift Hostel in Madiha. For a hostel, this place is truly impressive – it's stylish and well thought out. The beds are super comfy, and every room is equipped with air conditioning, allowing for a proper night's sleep under a cozy blanket. That’s something I hadn’t encountered anywhere else in Sri Lanka, and it really made a difference. The garden is lovely, featuring a nice swimming pool, and at the back of the property, there’s a serene yoga shala surrounded by nature. Daily classes are available, but you can also use the space for your own practice. The location is fantastic. In just about three minutes, you can reach one of the most stunning sections of coastline, where sea turtles are often spotted. Plus, my favorite surf spot in Sri Lanka, Madiha Point, is only a few minutes away – it’s an absolute gem. What sets this place apart is the perfect blend of tranquility and social interaction. It’s not a party hostel, yet the hosts arrange enjoyable activities each day, making it easy to connect with others. At the same time, there’s ample room for those who seek some solitude. I highly recommend it!

    Great stay at Spindrift Madiha

    I just spent three weeks at Spindrift Madiha, and it was such a wonderful experience! Madiha is truly a hidden gem, and the hostel's location is perfect. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. The best part is the garden area with the pool, where you can relax, socialize, and even order tasty food and drinks from the rooftop bar and restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive! Highly recommended :)

    Great stay at Spindrift

    I had an amazing experience here. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach. There are always activities planned, so there's plenty to keep you busy. The rooms are fantastic and really comfortable. I would definitely suggest staying at Spindrift!

    Memorable rooftop dining experience

    I had an amazing time here! I'm thankful to Ed and Cameron for making my stay unforgettable by arranging various activities and nights out. The rooftop offers tasty, fresh food that you can enjoy by the pool!
