    Great Value with Some Drawbacks

    The prices are reasonable, and the hotel features a swimming pool along with a dinner buffet, although the selection isn’t very extensive. The staff is friendly, and it’s conveniently located near the beach, though don’t expect a sea view from the hotel. The televisions in the rooms are small and unfortunately lack any signal or satellite reception.

    Great service and beachside location

    Excellent value and fantastic service. The WiFi connection was strong throughout the resort, which was a big plus. The pool area was stunning and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were cozy, and being right by the beach was incredible.

    Great stay with friendly staff

    We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the rooms were tidy and cozy, and the buffet meals were tasty. The swimming pool was enjoyable, well-maintained, and ideal for unwinding. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we would certainly return.

    Serious privacy concerns at this hotel

    I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend and friends, and we had a very unsettling experience. After returning from our day out, my girlfriend spotted someone outside the bathroom area who seemed to be recording her. This left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and worried about our privacy. I quickly requested access to the relevant CCTV footage from the hotel to understand what really happened. Initially, the staff agreed to provide it, but the next day they unexpectedly declined without giving a proper explanation. We even notified the owner about the incident, hoping for some action or at least cooperation. Unfortunately, nothing was done. There was no assistance, no clarification, and no effort to address our safety concerns. This raised significant worries for us—not only regarding the behavior of those near our rooms but also about whether the hotel has adequate security protocols in place. During such moments, transparency is crucial, and the refusal to share the CCTV footage intensified our feelings of insecurity. It even left us questioning if there were hidden cameras or other privacy violations, which no guest should ever have to contemplate. In summary, I believe the situation was poorly managed, and the lack of cooperation made our experience even more distressing. I would advise others to be cautious about potential privacy and security issues before booking this hotel.

    Disappointing Half-Board Experience

    I stayed at this hotel with a half-board option, and it was quite disappointing. To start, the TV in the room didn’t work, and it remained unfixed throughout our visit. The quality of the food left much to be desired. Dinner was particularly underwhelming. I ordered seafood pasta meant for two, but it arrived with just one prawn and about 4-5 small pieces of cuttlefish. Considering this is a hotel in Matara, I expected more seafood. This portion was simply unacceptable for a dish intended for two and definitely not worth the price. Breakfast was equally terrible, lacking in flavor. In general, this hotel doesn't fulfill the basic requirements for a half-board stay. I wouldn’t recommend it unless significant improvements are made to the food quality and room amenities.

    Disappointing Food and Service Experience

    My experience at this hotel left me quite disappointed, especially regarding the food and service. The meals were overly salty and not enjoyable at all. More alarming was the state of the cutlery, which looked unclean and raised significant hygiene issues. Moreover, the service from the waitstaff was lacking professionalism. Requests were not managed well, and there was a noticeable absence of basic courtesy and attentiveness throughout the meal. Considering the standards one would expect from a hotel, particularly regarding cleanliness and customer service, this experience was far from satisfactory. I sincerely hope management addresses these concerns to enhance both hygiene practices and staff training.

    Comfortable stay in a noisy area

    Overall, Hotel is a solid choice. My main goal was to find a quiet room in this noisy party zone, and this place fits the bill perfectly. The staff is very accommodating, and everything from the linens to the other essentials is clean. I had a comfortable stay with all my basic needs met. However, the mini fridge didn't function properly. On the bright side, the swimming pool is large and enjoyable. I really had a great time during my stay.
