Fantastic instructors and cold beers
The music was amazing, and the surfing instructors were top-notch—especially Heshan, who was extremely helpful and friendly. Plus, they serve the coldest beers on the island! 🤫

Great Surf School for Beginners
This surf school is a fantastic choice for beginners and comes at a reasonable price. Our instructors, Supun and Heshan, were upbeat and friendly. I had Supun as my instructor, and he communicated well in clear English. He even knew a few Russian phrases, which really helped speed up my learning in the water. His explanations and demonstrations were very clear. Each instructor handled 2-3 students, and they offered smaller lesson packages with discounts for 3 or 5 lessons. The instructors were also quite flexible when it came to scheduling and independent practice. I learned using a softboard, which comes in two sizes, and they found the right fit for me, being about 190 cm tall and weighing around 95 kg. After a few lessons, I was able to ride almost to the shore and picked up the basics of turning. However, I struggled with the hardboard, which I think was partly due to the limited number of boards available and the fact that they weren't suitable for my size; they lacked buoyancy, causing the board to sink when I tried to stand. For those looking for more advanced surfing, it might be worth checking out schools that offer a wider range of boards tailored to individual needs, though that usually comes at a higher cost. They also have a juice bar with a great selection of natural shakes at reasonable prices; we couldn’t find anything cheaper in Weligama. It’s the perfect refreshment after a lesson, and the taste is fantastic—they don’t dilute their drinks. I would definitely recommend this place for beginners!

Excellent Surf Coaching in Weligama
They truly excel at what they do. Heshan is an outstanding surf coach who has a great understanding of identifying flaws and assists you in finding your rhythm with both the waves and the board. If you're looking to learn to surf in Weligama, Sri Lanka, this is definitely a place you shouldn't miss.

Excellent Surf School Experience
I highly recommend this Surf School. My instructor, Heshan, was extremely professional and patient while teaching. Over the course of three days, I learned so much, including balance, how to pop up, and how to paddle and surf.

Fantastic First Surfing Experience
My friend and I went surfing for the first time, and it was an incredible experience. Our instructor, Mahesh, clearly explained the techniques and was very patient with us during the session. He provided useful feedback every time we caught a wave, correcting our errors and helping us improve quickly. Thanks to his guidance, we learned much faster than we anticipated, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
