Fantastic First Surf Lesson
We took our first surf lesson with Lahiru, and it was an incredible experience. As total beginners, we felt very well supported. He clearly explained the basics, offered honest and useful tips, and ensured we knew what to focus on. He carefully selected the right waves for us, and we managed to ride several, which was beyond what we expected for our first time! We enjoyed a great morning and only wish we had signed up for more lessons before heading home. Highly recommended!

Outstanding Surfing Instructor
I highly recommend Lahiru. We picked up surfing quickly and consistently made it to the shore thanks to his guidance. He always extended our lessons and was very attentive and focused on safety. Everyone at the beach and on the water recognized him, claiming he was the top surfer and instructor. Thank you for all your support!

Exceptional Surfing Experience with Lahiru
As a first-time surfer, I was nervous about picking the right instructor to ensure a good experience. However, after reading reviews about Blue Shark Surf School and the positive feedback about Lahiru, my decision became much easier. I’m thrilled that I chose Blue Shark. My private lesson with Lahiru lasted 90 minutes and included a board and rash vest for 7000 LKR, which is great for beginners. Lahiru covered the essential basics of surfing, including how to stand on the board, surfing terminology, and beach safety. Once we finished the introduction, we hit the waves. Initially, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to balance on the board. However, Lahiru's confidence and attentiveness made a significant difference and helped me improve. I could see how things could have gone poorly if the instructor didn’t have these qualities, as I read some criticisms about other surf schools in Weligama where students felt abandoned. Overall, I’m pleased with the progress I made thanks to Lahiru’s teaching and only wish I had more time in the area to enhance my skills further!
