We took four surf lessons with Dila and Sanda, and they were simply outstanding. It's clear that both instructors love what they do, which really makes a difference. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

I took a beginner surf lesson with Sanda, and it was fantastic! We began with some practice exercises on a board on the beach to learn the fundamentals of surfing. After that, we spent at least another hour in the water applying what we had learned.

These instructors are truly the best surf guides in Weligama! I booked two days of surf guiding, and they provided a fun surf tuk tuk for both days and arranged a boat to the reefs. They had an excellent selection of boards too. Gayan, my ...

We really enjoyed our time with Sura, our surf instructor! We took three hours of lessons with him and also rented boards multiple times to practice.

As someone who's completely new to surfing, I can't recommend Freedom Surf School enough. Sura was an amazing instructor who really pushed me in every lesson. Thanks to the lessons I took, I made significant progress and even moved up to a hardboard. I opted for their surf and accommodation packages, which I found to be a great value if you want to maximize your surfing time. I would strongly suggest this place to anyone eager to learn how to surf, and I'd definitely think about returning for more lessons if I'm ever back in Sri Lanka.
