We spent two nights at this stunning heritage property, which offered an ideal mix of luxury and traditional charm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, enhancing our comfort during the stay. I spent three nights with friends at this lovely villa. It was spacious, featuring a swimming pool, a barbecue area, and swing ropes. The breakfast was very tasty. One of the rooms had a bath, but I opted for the tropical shower, which was fantastic! The bed was fitted with an anti-mosquito tent. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly. They even had two dogs that were very sociable. Overall, I left feeling happy; it was my first visit to Sri Lanka, and I hope to return.

We had a fantastic experience staying here! The staff is incredible, and the property is beautifully maintained. Initially, we booked for two days but loved it so much that we extended our stay to four. We were also treated to a delicious home-cooked meal that we still can’t stop thinking about. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. We often reminisce about the dogs and the lovely Lilly pond :)

If there were an option for zero stars, I would have chosen that. The photos and numerous reviews are quite deceiving. This property is quite old and poorly maintained. Though it’s marketed as a "heritage" stay, it feels more neglected than charming. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired—walls were stained, there were insects, and the bathroom was particularly uncomfortable. The bathtub area offers little privacy, making it awkward and unsuitable for guests. To make matters worse, there were two untrained dogs on the property. They barked incessantly and lunged at guests, which was quite alarming. The situation only improved when caretakers stepped in. On a positive note, the caretakers were polite and genuinely helpful, which was the only bright spot during our stay. Sadly, everything else did not meet our expectations. We truly regret booking two nights here, as it ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. I would strongly recommend future travelers think twice before booking this property.

This place offers a truly authentic experience away from the hustle and bustle of Weligama. There’s a lovely restaurant just across the street, and a neighbor provides tuk-tuk services. Foozoo features a small pool, which is a real blessing during hot days, surrounded by tall trees and lush plants that provide excellent shade. I highly recommend it.

My time in Sri Lanka was genuinely wonderful, largely thanks to our host, Sandu. He is one of the kindest individuals I've ever encountered. From our arrival, he took care of everything with incredible warmth and attention, ensuring we felt comfortable and relaxed. His hospitality truly made our experience memorable. The property, which is about 100 years old, has been lovingly preserved while still showcasing its vintage charm. It's surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees, creating a serene atmosphere that connects you deeply with nature. While the greenery does attract some mosquitoes, they have thoughtfully provided mosquito nets, which made our stay quite comfortable. In summary, this place is an ideal getaway for anyone looking for tranquility, simplicity, and a minimalist lifestyle, far away from the hustle and bustle. If you appreciate nature, peaceful mornings, and sincere hospitality, this place is a real treasure.

This is a fantastic Sri Lankan house to stay in! Although it's a bit far from the town, it's such an authentic place with a wonderful host who accommodates all your needs. The rooms are unique, and the garden is both relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast is excellent, and there's a cozy little restaurant right in front for dinner.

We had a fantastic time at this gorgeous villa in Weligama. The property is impressive — spacious, stylish, and incredibly cozy. From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease and truly at home. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept wonderfully each night. The service from Sando and the entire team was remarkable. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring we had the best experience. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. We did encounter a minor issue with some morning noise from nearby construction. However, when we brought it up to Sando, he promptly offered to relocate us to a different room without any hesitation. The new room was stunning — even bigger and more beautiful than our original booking. We were thrilled with how swiftly and professionally everything was addressed. Breakfast was delicious — fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. It was the ideal way to kick off each day. We're very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you for everything — you made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and right at home.
