    Comfortable stay with great service

    The room was clean and cozy, meeting European standards (though ours lacked AC, a fan was enough). The attentive staff provided almost a family-like care, always friendly and eager to suggest places while warning us about dishonest tourist traps. A significant perk was their beach hut, just 200 meters from our room, where we could rent surfboards and sign up for lessons. They also kindly arranged transportation from Colombo airport, which turned out to be quite reasonably priced. I definitely plan to return to this place on my next visit to Weligama! We stayed as a couple for four nights from December 15 to 20, 2025.

    Loved our extended stay!

    We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 6 because we enjoyed it so much! The rooms offer great value; they are simple, tidy, and cozy, plus the location is fantastic. This place is genuinely family-run, and the owners are incredibly kind, going out of their way to help. I would absolutely recommend this spot, and we’re looking forward to returning on our next trip.

    Highly recommended beachside stay

    I would absolutely recommend this place! It’s only a 2-minute walk to the beach, and everything is clean—rooms, shared kitchen, and bathrooms. Noan and his family were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. P.S. Just be sure to confirm if your room has AC, as it can get quite hot during the day.

Their dedication to hospitality and service is outstanding—management truly goes the extra mile. ✨ The rooms were immaculate, the bathroom gleamed, and the facilities surpassed all our expectations. It’s not often you find a place that perfectly combines comfort, authenticity, and care, but this one nails it. 🌊 And I can’t forget to mention—the breakfast by the sea is absolutely unforgettable. Plus, the surfing lessons were the best we've had yet: professional, enjoyable, and deeply tied to the ocean’s spirit. We leave with thankful hearts and hope to come back soon.     Ideal beachfront stay in Weligama

    I spent three weeks here and it's the best place to stay in Weligama! It's right on the beach but away from the hustle and bustle, making it quiet and clean—just perfect! The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. The price, location, cleanliness, and hospitality are all excellent. It’s an ideal spot for solo travelers, couples, or families. I highly recommend it!

    Room Issues Despite Good Location

    We were really disappointed with our stay due to a strong mold smell in the room that made it hard to sleep, which isn’t healthy at all. The absence of mosquito nets added to the problem, as it made venting the room difficult. The owner offered a poor excuse for this, and given the prevalence of mosquito nets elsewhere in Sri Lanka, it felt like a lack of care on their part. There were plenty of mosquitoes, and having a chemical plug right by the bed wasn’t a great solution. Upon arrival, we paid but barely saw the hosts again; the friendly family that others mentioned didn’t match our experience. Additionally, there was no WiFi available in our room. The kitchen was useful, but it lacked cutlery and needed better cleaning and maintenance. On a positive note, the location was great—close to the beach and away from noisy streets.

    Comfortable stay with friendly service

    This place is centrally located and features a spacious room with a comfortable bed. I would have preferred a duvet instead of just a sheet, but I understand that's not typical in Sri Lanka. The air conditioning works great, and the family downstairs is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I felt safe during my stay here.

    A Cozy Home Away From Home

    Villa 2B1 truly feels like home. Nuwan and his family are wonderfully welcoming, always eager to assist and provide guidance. The villa itself is spotless, bright, and comfortable, plus the beach is only a short stroll away. It's a peaceful and serene environment, and the surrounding people are very friendly. We'll certainly return! Thanks for the warmth and comfort!
