This hotel is fantastic. Aishen, the staff member, is wonderful and shows great respect for Jewish guests. He is attentive to all requests, no matter how small. The location is just a few minutes from Wilgama's center and the main beach. I highly recommend it.

Ishan, the owner, along with Osman, the helper, were incredibly welcoming and professional. Ishan went out of his way to ensure our comfort during our stay. He even allowed us to use the shower and bathroom after checkout and arranged an affordable and reliable driver to the airport. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was quiet at night, making us feel safe with the presence of a security guard. I highly recommend this place!

I can definitely recommend this place! First off, it’s incredibly clean—easily the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in Sri Lanka during my month here! The wifi was good enough for me to work from the hotel, which is a rarity in Sri Lanka. Everything worked perfectly, including the hot water and AC. If you're heading to Weligama, be aware that the beaches and water there are quite dirty, but Jungle Beach, just an 8-minute walk away, is pristine and feels like a little paradise. It’s better to stay here and take a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of Weligama. The surroundings are lovely—green and cozy. It's nestled among local homes, and the residents were very friendly; I always felt safe and welcomed. The owner and his staff were really helpful and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great experience without being intrusive. When my flight got cancelled, they even reached out to see if I needed any assistance, although I was in another city at the time. The garden is beautiful, and the coffee is excellent. Just remember to bring anti-mosquito spray, as the mosquitos in the area can be quite aggressive. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again!

I had a fantastic experience at this hidden gem. The rooms were clean and comfortable, complete with a mini fridge! My constant craving for iced water was happily met. There's also a delightful little garden where you can unwind, though be cautious of mosquitoes in the evening depending on the season. Ishan, the manager, exemplified hospitality and truly enhanced my stay.

I just spent a fantastic month at The Blue Haze while doing a yoga teacher training course nearby, and every moment was delightful! Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I received a warm welcome from Ishan and his team, who offered us fresh coconut water from their garden and shared details about our stay and local attractions. I stayed there solo for most of the month and felt completely safe and comfortable throughout. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water for showers. The level of service and cleanliness was comparable to a luxury hotel but at a much lower price! My room was cleaned beautifully every three days, and I had access to cold water whenever I needed it. The beds were very comfortable, and my spacious room featured a private bathroom, desk, fridge, and wardrobe (I think it was a deluxe room). I can’t recommend this place enough! I looked forward to coming back to The Blue Haze every day because of its warm and inviting atmosphere; it truly felt like a home away from home! Thank you for such a wonderful stay—I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

I had an incredible time here and highly recommend this place! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. A big shoutout to the owner, Ishan, who went out of his way to make my trip smooth and enjoyable. He even allowed me to store my suitcase after checkout and arranged my taxi to the airport. Plus, he has fantastic home-grown coconuts right on the property!
