    Charming stay with excellent staff

This is a wonderful location with fantastic staff, making it one of our favorite places to stay in Sri Lanka. The museum is remarkable, Tilly the dog is adorable and playful, and the lounge area is simply amazing. Thank you!

    Dated room with unpleasant smell

The room looks older than what the online photos suggest, and there was a strong odor of mothballs that lingered throughout the night, which was quite unpleasant. Given the location, there were also quite a few bugs and spiders, so you have to be prepared for that.

    Beautiful setting but basic meals

Cinnamon Hill in Mirissa boasts stunning surroundings and well-maintained grounds. However, the food felt rather basic, resembling home-cooked meals, and there wasn't much variety. The rooms are quite simple and could use some amenities like a TV and a refrigerator. In the end, the experience didn't quite justify the cost.

    Disappointment at Closed Hotel

Upon our arrival on Friday, June 21, 2024, we were quite disheartened to discover that the hotel was closed. We had intended to order some food, explore the nearby Cinnamon Museum, and then come back to enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning view from Mirissa.
