    Comfortable stay with great location

    I had a wonderful time at X Mirissa! The accommodations were clean, spacious, and meticulously kept. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and I found a fantastic deal at a very fair price. The location couldn't be better, just a quick 2-minute stroll to Parrot Rock and around 10 minutes to Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is very close by, and there are numerous excellent restaurants across the street offering stunning beach views. I highly recommend it!

    Great stay with kind staff

    I spent just one night at X Mirissa in November 2025, but I truly wished I could have extended my stay. The value for what you receive is impressive. I was fortunate enough to be upgraded to the top floor, which featured a shared kitchenette and living area, and the views from my balcony were stunning, overlooking the beautiful nature of Mirissa. My room was tidy and comfortable, and the hotel has a wonderfully bohemian, beachy atmosphere that perfectly suits the locale. Its location is ideal, within walking distance to Mirissa Beach as well as numerous restaurants, cafes, spas, and shops. Coconut Tree Hill is also nearby. Unfortunately, I arrived with a severe migraine, but Reashan was exceptionally kind, bringing me a soup from their restaurant and ensuring I was alright. The staff were warm, considerate, and very accommodating. Their service truly deserves more than 5 stars. I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend X Mirissa; I hope to return for more than just one night next time.

    Great stay with a few minor issues

    Our experience at X Mirissa was quite enjoyable. It's conveniently located near restaurants and the beach, yet far enough away to ensure a peaceful night's rest. The balcony offered a lovely view, and we appreciated the laundry service and breakfast options (which were simple, but could be enhanced). Watching the monkeys from the balcony was a delightful surprise. I would definitely recommend this place and would choose to stay here again if we return to Mirissa. A big thank you to the friendly staff.

    Fantastic stay with stunning views

    This place has a fantastic location, and the staff is outstanding! The rooms are quite spacious and come equipped with all the necessary amenities. I can’t emphasize enough how great the location is! Rashan was incredibly kind, accommodating, and flexible, ensuring that our stay went smoothly without any issues. Just so you know, the best room is a two-bedroom suite located on the top floor, which is the fourth floor and can only be reached by stairs. If you’re up for the climb, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful sea and mountain views, plus a very large bathtub!

    Disappointing stay before whale-watching

    I booked this hotel for a single night just to get some rest before an early whale-watching trip, as it was the only option available. I expected it to be below my usual standards, but the experience turned out to be much worse than anticipated. The room was clean, but the décor left a lot to be desired. There was loud music with heavy bass that continued until around 5:30am, making it nearly impossible to get any sleep. Check-in was a bit of a mess. Two staff members seemed unsure of what to do, spent a long time trying (and failing) to reach someone else, and the entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional. When I left at 6am, there was no one at the reception. Even though I had booked through Booking.com and provided my card details and contact information, I was later accused of leaving without paying and received threatening messages, despite having never refused to pay. This felt completely inappropriate and rude. Overall, this was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I've encountered, and I travel frequently. What should have been a straightforward overnight stay turned into something akin to Fawlty Towers but without the humor. 🙃 I cannot recommend staying here.

    Exceptional service in Mirissa

    We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Mirissa. Right from the start, the hotel manager and the staff were attentive and made us feel truly welcome. Their kindness and care were impressive. When we fell ill during our visit, they exceeded our expectations in taking care of us. The manager went out of his way to arrange for extra soup to be specially made for us and had it delivered straight to our room. This level of thoughtfulness really touched us and is something we'll always remember. Regarding cleanliness, we had no issues whatsoever. Everything was spotless, well-kept, and we felt very secure. The manager frequently checked in with us, asking if we were okay or needed anything, which contributed to our comfort during our stay. One minor suggestion is that the room doors could be a bit more secure. Enhancing this aspect would further improve the overall experience. In summary, the service was outstanding, warm, and genuine. We felt genuinely cared for and appreciated as guests. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mirissa.

    Disappointing hotel experience

    This establishment felt more like a hostel than a hotel, leaving me with a sense of being completely ripped off. The room was neither cozy nor particularly clean, showing grime that seemed to have accumulated over a long period. Additionally, there were large printed signs displaying various rules and warnings throughout the place.

    Stylish hotel with great views

    The hotel boasts a modern design and an excellent atmosphere. From the moment you step in, it's clear that everything is stylish and well-maintained. The staff is very attentive and always ready to assist. As a nice bonus, we received a complimentary room upgrade, which we were really thankful for. The rooms are contemporary, spacious, and impeccably clean. They come with air conditioning and drinkable water, plus the views from the rooms are simply stunning. The rooftop is fantastic, offering 360° vistas of Mirissa — an ideal spot to unwind and take in the scenery. Situated just 100 meters from the beach, the hotel is right next to the finest beach in Mirissa. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
