    Great Stay Near Turtle Beach

    This new hotel right by Turtle Beach offers fantastic value! The rooms have a clean and luxurious feel, complete with a lovely balcony area. The air conditioning works well, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is both warm and powerful. Sachi truly stands out with her exceptional service. She goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Thank you! ❤️ A few suggestions for improvement: the hairdryer requires an adapter plug, it would be helpful to have a full-length mirror, a bedside lamp would be nice, and providing shampoo and shower gel would enhance the experience.

    Great stay with delicious breakfast

    Ocean Light Mirissa is a newly opened spot near the main road. We chose the bed & breakfast option, and they provided us with a delightful Sri Lankan breakfast customized to our tastes - everything was well thought out. Although parking can be somewhat tricky, the property owner ensured we had a proper parking space nearby, which we really appreciated. The owner and the staff were exceptionally helpful. A special shoutout to Sachin, who worked hard to make our stay enjoyable - he truly went the extra mile, even checking in with us after we checked out. Being a new establishment, they are doing a great job maintaining everything, and we will definitely return.

    Comfortable stay with good breakfast

    Our time at Ocean Light Mirissa was quite enjoyable! The room was spacious, well-kept, and perfect for three people, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also well-maintained and had hot water available. We relished the breakfast, which featured a nice selection of tasty Sri Lankan dishes. A special mention goes to Sachi, who was exceptionally helpful during our stay. On the downside, the property is situated on a slight hill and lacks designated parking for larger vehicles (we ended up parking at a neighbor's place, which wasn't the most convenient but felt safe), though it’s suitable for bikes. Overall, it’s a secure and cozy location, making it a great choice for a girls’ getaway. Highly recommended!

    Fantastic hotel in Mirissa!

    This hotel is fantastic! I honestly have no complaints. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Its location is ideal, allowing easy access to the main beach and popular attractions, all within walking distance since it’s centrally located. The breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. A special shoutout to Sachi, our incredibly helpful and attentive host, who ensured we had everything we needed and went the extra mile to assist us in planning our daily activities during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mirissa!

    Great stay with minor cleaning issue

    This hotel is a wonderful spot with amazing service that I couldn't fault at all! Breakfast was flexible to accommodate our schedule and was quite tasty, showing a lot of effort put into it. The bed was spacious and comfortable. My only concern is that during our four-night stay, we didn't receive any room cleaning, leaving our room sandy and the floor and shower feeling unclean. However, the location was fantastic, even if it is up a hill!

    Fantastic stay with exceptional hospitality

    I had a truly wonderful experience here. The hotel was immaculate, with rooms and common areas that were spotless. Each morning began perfectly with a delicious, fresh, and plentiful breakfast. The standout feature of my stay was the host, Sachi. He exemplifies what a super-host should be, always going the extra mile to help and being available whenever needed. Sachi is the kindest person I encountered during my time in Sri Lanka! His local insights were a huge asset: he provided excellent recommendations for whale watching and snorkeling and pointed me towards a fantastic local restaurant. His efforts significantly enhanced my trip. If you're seeking exceptional cleanliness, great food, and top-notch hospitality in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend booking this hotel!

    Convenient location and friendly staff

    The location is fantastic, just a short distance from the beaches, making it perfect for a vacation. The room is roomy and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.     Great stay in Mirissa

    This hotel is situated in a fantastic spot in Mirissa. The room was spotless and free from mosquitos. It’s just a 2-minute stroll to the beach, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Sachi, the host, was outstanding—service was a perfect 10/10. The breakfast was served hot and made fresh.
