    Deeply Disappointed with Care

    I approached Veterinary Hospital Kurunegala with hopes for my pet's recovery, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. It was clear that the staff seemed to put profits ahead of the animals' well-being. Many animals at the hospital did not recover and, sadly, lost their lives to their illnesses. The absence of compassion and real care for the animals was shocking. It appeared that the hospital's main focus was on financial gain instead of providing necessary treatment and support. Sadly, my own pet could not overcome their illness and passed away while receiving care here. I strongly recommend that pet owners look for other veterinary options that truly prioritize the health and welfare of animals. Steer clear of Veterinary Hospital Kurunegala, as it is obvious they do not prioritize the well-being of their patients.

    Disappointing veterinary experience

    I cannot recommend this place at all. I was deeply let down by my experience here. I first took my puppy in due to a food-related issue, but the vets showed minimal care or concern. They only administered vaccinations without thoroughly examining him. Afterward, he developed serious allergies. When we returned for help, the staff were uninterested and took no responsibility. The next day, I brought my other dog in because he was experiencing mucus discharge and clearly wasn't well. Despite his condition, the doctors again failed to conduct a proper examination. They eventually ran a blood test and gave him a vaccine, but even after we took him home, his condition worsened. It was evident that they lacked understanding of my dog's issues, yet they charged a hefty fee without delivering adequate treatment or care. Ultimately, we sought help at another veterinary hospital where the staff were caring and professional, and they successfully diagnosed the problem. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their pets.

    Terrible experience for pets

    I can't recommend this place for your pets at all. I'm extremely disappointed with the service and communication. We left our dog here for three days after surgery, and they charged us extra. Now, our dog's weight has dropped significantly, and it can't even walk. They didn't feed our pet properly. This is the worst service I've experienced, and they've completely broken our trust.

    Avoid boarding pets here

    We do not recommend boarding pets at this place. When we picked up our pet after a week, it had wounds and smelled really bad. It seems like they weren't cleaning properly.

    Exceptional Care for My Dogs

    I owe a lot to this place for saving my three dogs. Ten years ago, they rescued my German Shepherd and more recently, a Rottweiler suffering from tick fever; both were in critical condition. The third dog, a local SL breed, had an illness that left her unable to walk as a puppy. After a few weeks of treatment, she bounced back. She also had a serious leg injury about three years ago, and they managed to repair her completely broken fibula. We were concerned she would have a limp, but thankfully, their outstanding work ensured she didn't develop one.
