Great value and quality spectacles
I strongly recommend this shop for their high-quality spectacles at reasonable prices. Recently, I assisted a Chinese customer in purchasing a pair, and he was very pleased with his choice.

The staff was friendly, but the frames were sold at inflated prices for their quality. I really don't think it's worth it. Compared to other branded optical stores, this place falls short. I'm quite disappointed with my purchase.

Steer clear of this optician unless you're in dire need. There are plenty of other options in the Dehiwala Junction area, so it's wise to compare prices. My initial experience was positive, as the staff were friendly and helpful. Here's the backstory: I misplaced my glasses and needed a temporary pair until I could find the specific red frame I wanted. Usually, I spend about 2000 rs for a temporary set, so I was shocked when the assistant quoted me 8000 rs. With a zoom business meeting looming, I felt I had no choice but to accept their steep price. This is the same kind of glasses I could pick up at the Pettah market for 1500 rs. Although I felt taken advantage of, I returned the next day for a quote on permanent glasses and was quoted 55,000 rs. That was a huge surprise, and after some haggling, I managed to bring the price down to 38,000 rs. I wondered why they didn't offer me that price initially. They pressured me to pay by credit card or find an ATM since I didn't have enough cash. I felt rushed into a sale and quite uncomfortable. They suggested I put down a small deposit and pay the rest the next day, at which point they would start making my lenses (without committing to any material or labor costs). The saga continued. The next day, on a friend's recommendation, I visited First Cross Street in Pettah and found exactly what I needed for 14,000 rs. That's half the price! I got a better-branded frame, a free eye test, and my glasses ready in half an hour. I called Life Vision to request my deposit back, but they denied my request due to their management policies. They come across as money grabbers, taking advantage of local residents in Dehiwala. My advice? Shop around for the best price before buying from this store.
