I am utterly appalled and devastated by my experience at this veterinary clinic. I brought my puppy in who desperately needed help, as he was very ill, weak, and had completely stopped eating. I thought we were in capable hands, but I was met with sheer indifference and neglect. The whole ordeal felt like a nightmare, and it seemed like they prioritized profit over the well-being of animals. The veterinarian, who was supposed to be an expert, appeared completely lost and was more focused on questioning me than providing any real answers. He repeatedly asked if my puppy could have "tick fever"—as if I were supposed to know! He’s the professional, yet I felt like I was the one educating him. My puppy was already in such a fragile state, and instead of acting quickly, the doctor continued to ask nonsensical questions. It felt like he wasn’t even acknowledging that my puppy was on the brink of collapse. They attempted to take a blood sample for more than 30 minutes, but my poor pup didn’t have enough blood to spare. At that moment, we inquired about a transfusion or any immediate treatment, and the doctor told us to "wait over the weekend" and come back in three days. He handed us two vitamins and sent us on our way. There was no urgency, no compassion, and no effort to do what was necessary to save my puppy’s life. As if the vet's lack of care wasn't enough, the incompetence of the cashier staff was maddening. The woman mistakenly charged my card twice, and when I pointed this out, an older man came over and insisted it was a bank error. However, my phone clearly showed the amount had already been deducted. They charged me again, effectively billing me twice. When I tried to resolve this, the man told me to wait over the long weekend to sort it out—as if it was my fault their system failed. It was infuriating and humiliating, and it felt like they were trying to shirk responsibility for their mistakes. Tragically, my puppy passed away the next day. His condition rapidly declined, and I can’t shake the feeling that if the vet had actually cared about his health or provided proper advice or treatment, he might still be here with me. But instead, this place is just a business. They don’t care about healing pets or prioritizing their welfare. They are only in it for the money. I can’t stress enough how heartbroken I am, and I will always regret not taking my puppy to a better, more compassionate clinic. If you love your pet, please avoid this dreadful place. They are more focused on lining their pockets than saving lives. To me, my puppy was everything—my heart and soul—and I grieve his loss deeply today because of this clinic’s complete failure. Do yourself and your pet a favor, and seek out a vet that truly cares!

We recently visited this place and I was really let down by the service. They didn’t even show concern for the injured pet we brought along. No one came over to check on our beloved pet bird, and all the vets seemed glued to their phones. I cannot recommend this place. Absolutely zero customer service.

We put our trust in our veterinarians and consider our pets to be family. It’s crucial that they show some empathy and kindness. I really wish the vets here had more compassion for our animals, as it seems like they are just going through the motions. Dr. Gunawardana is exceptional, no question about it. However, the other younger veterinarians are completely inadequate. Please consider hiring vets who genuinely care for animals, rather than those who chose veterinary science simply because they didn't achieve the necessary scores for medical school.
