    Disappointing BBQ Chicken Experience

I visited Galle Spar Restaurant this morning and ordered BBQ chicken and some sausages. To be honest, the sausages were quite good—well-cooked and fresh-tasting. However, the BBQ chicken completely ruined my meal. While the outer appearance of the chicken seemed fine, the center had an awful smell that was reminiscent of feces. I couldn't bring myself to take another bite, as I was genuinely worried about the quality and freshness of the meat. I've had BBQ chicken from many places, and I've never encountered anything like this. Food quality and freshness should be paramount, especially when it comes to chicken. Whether it was a storage issue or something else, this is unacceptable. I ended up discarding the rest of the chicken because I didn't feel it was safe to eat. The only reason I’m not giving a completely negative review is that the sausages were enjoyable. However, a significant issue with food quality is enough to erode a customer’s trust. I really hope the management looks into this and improves their quality control to prevent others from having the same experience. Sadly, I won't be coming back based on this visit.

    Great shopping experience at SPAR!

I had a wonderful time shopping at SPAR! The store is clean, spacious, and well-organized, creating a nice atmosphere. The bakery section really stands out—everything is fresh and reasonably priced. The produce is always abundant and in good condition. I found the staff to be polite and very helpful, which made it easy to locate what I needed. There's usually ample parking available, and the checkout process is quick. While prices are a bit higher compared to some other supermarkets, the quality and convenience definitely make it worthwhile. I highly recommend this place!

    Perfect Stop-Over for Travelers

This is truly the best stop-over! It's conveniently situated right after the highway exit to Galle, making it an ideal location for those on the road. They provide a wide variety of products, but the standout feature is definitely the food. They offer an array of freshly prepared, tasty meals, and the cozy cafe area is perfect for unwinding. I highly recommend it for its delicious offerings and very affordable prices!
