Located on the Galle - Colombo main road, this place is super convenient. You can find everyday groceries, food items, household essentials, and bakery products there. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh, as they restock daily. They also have fresh cuts of meat and fish available. Their in-store bakery offers fresh bread, buns, pastries, and doughnuts. Plus, you can grab fresh juices and cold drinks. While the shopping experience was enjoyable, the long lines at the cashier can be quite frustrating, especially during peak hours.

While the checkout process is generally smooth, it can get a bit crowded on weekends. Additionally, the store has a small bakery and deli section, perfect for grabbing a quick snack or something freshly made. Parking is sufficient, which is a real advantage in a busy town like Galle.

Frustrating visit with hygiene concerns

I had an unpleasant experience. The staff appeared quite frustrated, and there needs to be better communication among them. As a regular customer of Keels, I found this location to be less hygienic than others. Additionally, the entrance gate to the parking lot was closed. To top it off, just look at the size of those white donuts! 😭

Chaotic experience at Keells – Galle

I went to the Keells store in Galle yesterday, and sadly, it was quite an unpleasant experience. The place was overcrowded and seemed poorly handled. It felt chaotic, with a lack of proper direction for customers. The billing counters were jammed, leading to lengthy wait times. The staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive, which only added to the discomfort. Overall, shopping here felt more stressful than convenient. I usually anticipate a more organized experience at Keells, but this visit was quite disappointing. Management really needs to enhance crowd control and customer service at this location.
