    Unpleasant experience due to staff issues

    The security lady acts like she runs the place and has no clue how to talk to customers. The front office is a complete waste of time—unfriendly and unprofessional. Although there's parking available, everyone has to park on the roadside because the owner doesn't allow vehicles in and blocks the public road with cars parked on both sides.

    IBE in Negombo offers classes for Cambridge Examinations that are accredited by the British Council. This institute is dedicated to teaching students English in a modern facility in Negombo. The owners, who are Catholics, run an authentic business focused on improving English language skills, including Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. They also provide IELTS classes.

    Highly Recommended English Institute

    As a student at this institute, I have gained a lot, such as learning new vocabulary and preparing for exams across CEFR Levels, from Starters and Movers to Flyers and IELTS. The teachers are incredibly friendly and emphasize the values of English in their lessons. This institute is accredited by the British Council and conducts exams through Cambridge. I strongly recommend this place.

    Disappointing experience overall

    My experience here has been quite disappointing. Students must take an entrance exam, but the grading seems overly strict, with many receiving marks at least one level lower without a good reason. Additionally, most students really dislike the atmosphere. Managing their sessions alongside regular school is extremely challenging, as they operate it like a second school rather than just providing extra classes. To make matters worse, we are not allowed to use the front parking lot, which is quite inconvenient. The front gate security is also unnecessarily rude.
