    Great venue for workshops

    I hosted a workshop event here, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The venue has a strong athletic atmosphere, feeling both open and spacious, with a staff that was friendly and welcoming. The setup of the equipment and the overall vibe were perfect for our event. It was easy to locate, and the parking situation was quite convenient, which is a significant plus. One minor point to mention: the washrooms and some areas could benefit from a bit more upkeep. It's not a huge issue, but it is noticeable. Overall, it's a lovely venue, and there’s not much to complain about. I would definitely recommend it for events and workshops.

    Great Training Space in Colombo

    Last week, I participated in a parkour workshop hosted by Ramp, a parkour community in Sri Lanka, at Myrus, a yoga and fitness center located in Colombo. A big thank you goes to the owner, Miuru Jayaweera, for generously allowing us to use the venue and for supporting emerging talent. Myrus offers a tranquil and soothing workout environment that exudes a positive energy. It seems to prioritize calisthenics-based training, mindfulness, and movement quality over the loud, high-pressure atmosphere typical of many gyms. The ambiance is peaceful and inviting, making it ideal for both physical and mental development. I highly recommend it for anyone in search of a mindful yet efficient training location in Colombo. 💪🧘‍♂️😇❤️🧬✌🏼

    Amazing Yoga and Calisthenics Workshop

    For nearly two months, I've been attending yoga classes at Myrus Colombo with Dr. Miuru, and I’m thoroughly enjoying her sessions! I also participated in her inaugural YoCa (Yoga + Calisthenics) workshop, and I was truly impressed by how effectively Dr. Miuru led us through various exercises and stretches that targeted different body areas, culminating in three beautiful yoga poses. What really made this workshop stand out was her emphasis on mastering the technique from the very beginning. The entire event was well-organized, and with two teacher assistants on hand, every attendee received individual attention. I had never done Calisthenics before, but the way the workshop was structured made it easy for beginners to follow along! I can’t wait to sign up for the next workshop! A big thank you to Dr. Miuru and the teacher assistants for such a fantastic session yesterday!
