    Nice ambiance but disappointing food

    We visited for lunch and found the restaurant to be quite attractive and well-kept, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. The dishes arrived cold, and the chili paste was excessively oily. The chicken gravy was inedible. We suggest that they focus on serving customers fresher and better-prepared meals, as this would greatly enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to future business success.

    Excellent Dining Experience in Wattala

    The food is excellent at this fine dining spot in Wattala, which is impeccably maintained. There's ample parking available right in front of the restaurant, and the atmosphere is inviting and well-kept. The dishes are incredibly tasty, and the prices are quite fair. It's an ideal venue for parties and gatherings, with the capacity to comfortably host over 30 guests at once.

    Consistently Great Indian Cuisine

    The food is excellent, and the staff are attentive and efficient during service. Their biriyani boasts an authentic flavor, while the butter naan and butter chicken masala are both incredibly tasty. I've been there over 10 times, and they always meet my expectations. The portion sizes are average. Overall, a great experience.

    Great Indian Meal at Elite Indian Family Restaurant

    I recently dined at Elite Indian Family Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. We ordered chicken biriyani, butter naan, Chettinad chicken masala, avocado juice with ice cream, and a banana milkshake. The standout dish was definitely the Chettinad chicken masala — it was incredibly flavorful and rich. The biriyani and butter naan were both very good and satisfying too. The banana milkshake was enjoyable as well. For dessert, we sampled the watalappan and caramel pudding, both of which were absolutely delicious and had an authentic taste. The only downside was the avocado juice, which turned out to be a bit watery for our liking. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this spot for a great Indian meal!

    Pleasantly Surprised by Great Service

    Despite reading multiple reviews about unsatisfactory customer service, we were somewhat reluctant to go. Fortunately, our experience was entirely the opposite. Perhaps things have improved. We encountered no problems, and our biryani was made surprisingly fast. We ordered the Mutton Biryani Sawan (12,800 LKR), and it was delightful. Although it’s intended for six people, we were a party of seven, and everyone had plenty to eat. The portion of mutton curry was also quite generous. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, and we would definitely think about returning.
