Disappointing experience at Sarasavi Bookshop

My visit to the Nugegoda Sarasavi Bookshop was quite disappointing. I went there with my child and when we entered the lift, we encountered the manager inside. The strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from him made us both very uncomfortable, especially with a child around. What added to my disappointment was his demeanor. During the brief lift ride, he made comments that struck me as having inappropriate undertones and were quite unprofessional. His attitude toward customers was disrespectful, which intensified our discomfort. As a regular customer at Sarasavi, I've always enjoyed shopping there, but this incident has made me reconsider returning to this branch. A bookstore should create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, and customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. I really hope Sarasavi takes this feedback to heart and works on ensuring that their managers and staff uphold professional conduct to foster a comfortable environment for all shoppers. Based on my experience, I would caution others to think carefully before visiting this location. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered, and I left feeling very let down.
