    Long wait for disappointing service

I had a full body checkup scheduled between 9:00 and 10:00 AM and was informed that the blood test results would be available in the evening. I spent the whole day waiting, and I only received the results around 6:00 PM. After that, I had to wait even longer to see the OPD doctor. By 8:00 PM, I was still at the hospital waiting. I paid Rs. 34,000, expecting a quick and efficient experience, but this was neither worth my time nor my money. I also have a flight at 6:45 AM tomorrow, and this unnecessary delay has added a lot of stress. If you're considering a full body checkup here, be ready to waste your entire day. I definitely do not recommend it if you value your time.

    Disappointing hospital experience

My visit to this hospital was very disappointing. The pharmacy charged me LKR 1500 for just three basic medications (Panadine, an antibiotic, and another painkiller) and didn’t provide a receipt. It felt like they were just guessing the prices, which I find completely unacceptable and unethical. Additionally, the doctor who saw me was an elderly woman who seemed unfit to conduct even basic examinations—she struggled to use the stethoscope correctly. Rather than providing a proper diagnosis, she simply filled out a form on a tablet and ordered nearly every blood test available without any explanation. This level of careless service and lack of transparency raises significant concerns about the quality and integrity of this hospital. I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking proper medical care or accountability.

Disappointing service at Nawaloka Medical Centre

I'm really let down by the inadequate customer service at Nawaloka Medical Centre in Kiribathgoda. The receptionist was preoccupied on a personal phone call for over 20 minutes, leaving patients waiting for help. Meanwhile, the nurses were involved in loud arguments with each other right in front of patients, creating a disruptive environment in the hospital. It felt like no one cared about the needs of the patients, and many had to wander around trying to locate the right areas. Overall, the service and management were extremely unprofessional.

Basic hospital with room for improvement

This is the only private hospital in the Kiribathgoda area, with parking available for 30 vehicles. However, it lacks a cafeteria. They do have a 24-hour nursing care unit and a lab, but there's no online service—only email communication is offered. The facility seems to be poorly maintained, and customer service could use significant improvement. I wouldn't highly recommend it for treatment.

Poor service during blood test visit

I visited your facility today for a Full Blood Count test. After paying at the cashier, the cashier didn’t provide clear directions on where to go next. With no one at the reception desk, I had to ask the cashier again, and he directed me to the OPD lab. I waited there for about 10 minutes, but no one came to assist me. When I inquired with a woman in the pharmacy area, she also didn’t know what to do. After waiting another 10 minutes, I returned to the cashier since I was feeling uncomfortable — I’m 32 weeks pregnant. When I asked the cashier again, he simply told me, “Wait for the nurse, sit there.” There was a complete lack of proper guidance, care, or support, particularly considering my pregnancy. Because of this inconvenience, I requested a refund. I’m extremely disappointed with the poor communication, absence of care, and unprofessional behavior from the staff. I hope you will take steps to enhance the service, as this can be very stressful for patients, especially for expectant mothers. Additionally, the time printed on the receipt was about 15 minutes ahead of when I actually received it.

    Avoid Nawaloka for Medical Services

I cannot recommend this place for medical services. The doctors lacked professionalism, and I felt that patient concerns were not respected. Communication left much to be desired, as my calls often went unanswered. The overall experience resembled that of a government hospital, with minimal attention given to patients. Furthermore, the pharmacy was inadequately stocked to meet needs. I suggest looking for other options to save time and money in Nawaloka-Kiribathgoda.

Reliable care but pharmacy needs improvement

This is a fairly large private hospital located in Kiribathgoda, part of the well-known Nawaloka hospital chain. It offers both inpatient and outpatient services, along with emergency care. There are a good number of consultants who visit here. The facilities include a laboratory, ultrasound imaging, and X-ray services, with the digital X-ray machine providing high-quality images. They are currently building a new parking area as well. However, the pharmacy is a downside; the senior pharmacist seems quite lethargic and acts as if she is personally funding our medications. Fortunately, the rest of the staff is polite and well-trained.

    Frustratingly Poor Service Experience

Yesterday, we waited for the dermatologist at this hospital. The receptionist informed us that the doctor was supposed to arrive at 6:00 PM. However, even by 7:00 PM, the doctor hadn’t shown up, and the receptionist couldn’t provide any updates after the time had already passed by over an hour. There were multiple notices urging patients to give feedback by contacting the senior manager, but sadly, those calls went unanswered as well. This marks the second time we’ve faced a similar problem here. We are very disappointed with the service and the lack of communication.

Efficient and Clean Medical Centre Visit

I recently went to Nawaloka Medical Centre in Kelaniya around 8:00 PM to pick up an ECG test report, and my experience was very positive. The reception staff provided clear guidance on the process as soon as I arrived. While I was handling the payment, my child was already taken in for the test, which highlighted their efficiency and coordination. The entire experience felt quicker and more convenient than what I’ve encountered at the main Nawaloka Hospital. Overall, the service was good, and the medical staff conducted their duties with professionalism. However, one area for improvement would be the demeanor of the accounting staff. A more friendly approach would certainly enhance the customer experience, particularly in a healthcare setting where visitors often arrive feeling stressed. Nawaloka Kelaniya provides a variety of essential services, including OPD consultations with specialists, laboratory tests, doctor channeling, and diagnostic services like ECGs. The centre is well maintained, featuring a clean environment that fosters trust and comfort. Additionally, the ample parking available makes visits hassle-free, even during peak times. Based on my experience, I would confidently give this branch a full 5 stars. Its efficiency, cleanliness, and accessibility make it a dependable option for medical services in the Kelaniya region.
