We spent one night here and received outstanding care. We enjoyed drinks with the owner on the balcony and had fresh mangoes along with wonderful coffee for breakfast. The rooms are brand new and quiet, and if you're feeling peckish, there's home cooking happening. We didn't try it, but the aroma was enticing.

The owner and his family are quite friendly and accommodating. The rooms are tidy, pleasant, and have a fresh scent. The beds provide a comfortable night's sleep. The food for both lunch and dinner was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and there was far more than we could consume.

The service here is excellent. The owner truly stands out with his impressive hospitality, which is something you rarely find in hotels. A big thank you to Sudheep for taking such good care of us, even giving us a wake-up call before sunrise. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

During our work trip, we spent 4 nights and 5 days at Hotel Athina in Chilaw. Our room was clean and featured a balcony, making it an ideal place to unwind with a drink in the evenings. The rates were quite reasonable, and the owner was exceptionally friendly and accommodating during our visit. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly and cozy stay in Chilaw!

Sujith was amazing and so friendly. He took me to the fish market in the morning and then treated us to a wonderful breakfast.

I’m really happy we chose to stay here! The rooms were cozy, but the standout was definitely the owner. What a wonderful person! We went to the fish market, enjoyed an amazing breakfast together, and even picked up some insights about life. It was a truly unforgettable experience :)

Our journey began here during a 28-day self-drive tuk-tuk tour of Sri Lanka in September 2017. Sujit and his family greeted us with open arms, making us feel right at home. They were always eager to chat, and their commitment to hospitality truly stood out. The rooms …

We spent a couple of nights here and couldn't have asked for more. The owner and his wife were incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts and delightful dinners prepared by his wife. Highly recommended.

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The owner acted in an unprofessional and aggressive way, almost resembling a gangster, and clearly lacks the ability to speak to customers with respect. I spent one night there, and the service was poor from beginning to end. There was a lack of proper customer care, and the basic standards of hospitality were not upheld. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Think carefully before making a reservation.
