Fantastic Dinner Buffet Experience

We enjoyed the dinner buffet here tonight, and it was truly fantastic. The selection of food was remarkable, ranging from perfectly cooked dishes at the live stations to an incredible dessert array. Each item tasted fresh and expertly made. The service was outstanding as well; our plates were cleared promptly, and the staff remained attentive and cheerful throughout the evening. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates a great buffet!

Comfortable Stay with Great Service

We had a very comfortable stay at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy from the 21st to the 24th of August, making it a well-deserved getaway. The serene setting, especially lounging by the river, the lush greenery, and the delightful colonial charm of the hotel made our experience special. The staff's warm smiles and hospitality added to our enjoyment. A big thank you to Room Boy Sanjaya for keeping our room spotless and cozy during our visit. We also appreciate Danushka, the Food & Beverage Manager, for his attentive service to all guests. The food was wonderful and obviously crafted with love. Finally, kudos to the bar team—Ishara, Hashini, and Yathesh—for their fantastic cocktails and mocktails. We particularly loved the new raspberry-based mocktail, which was both delicious and refreshing, truly one of the highlights of our stay. Thanks to the entire team at Cinnamon Citadel for a memorable experience. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return.

Great river view, needs some updates

This hotel offers a lovely view of the river. However, some furniture in the rooms feels outdated and could use a little DIY touch. Additionally, the lighting in the room could be enhanced, and the smell in the washroom needs better management. On a positive note, the beds were quite comfortable.
