I’d rate this place a strong 9.5 out of 10. The rooms are reasonably priced, and I found everything to be just as I expected. The room was clean and included all the necessary amenities. The staff was decent. I would recommend this place for couples and families looking for a short stay of a few hours or a couple of days.

Our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing, and I can't recommend it unless management addresses several serious problems. The room we received didn't match what was described in the WhatsApp message. The "balcony" turned out to be a shared area instead of a private space, and it had a drainage hole big enough for a rat to come and go— I actually saw one. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly from the outside, so we had to keep it propped shut. The bathroom and toilet were in terrible shape: the area under the sink was unfinished, the bathtub was unusable with standing water, the toilet was dirty, and the sink tap was loose. Light switches were broken and unreliable. We were given just one old glass bottle of water, which felt unsanitary; luckily, we had our own. There were no plates or glasses provided, making meal times inconvenient. At night, loud mechanical noises were a constant disturbance, and during the day, construction work involved workers banging on the walls, which was jarring. We had to ask them to stop. After 9 PM, staff were mostly absent, and I had to look for them to resolve issues. When we visited the staff quarters to voice our complaints, they were messy and poorly maintained, suggesting a lack of cleanliness overall. The hotel required immediate payment upon check-in, likely to secure guests despite the many shortcomings. We chose this hotel based on positive Google reviews but found the reality to be very different. Until management fixes these issues related to cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service, I can't recommend this hotel. The current state reflects poor standards and a lack of oversight.

This place feels like a wonderful private villa. The rooms were clean and well-sanitized. The Manager was very friendly and attentive to all our needs! In fact, all the staff were welcoming, and we didn’t encounter any problems during our stay. The atmosphere was soothing, even with the hustle and bustle around. I always choose this hotel whenever I visit Colombo for work or personal reasons. I highly recommend it for couples and families.

We recently hosted a party at the hotel, and it was a truly unforgettable experience! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just right for our celebration. The VIP party room we reserved was a perfect 10/10 - it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. It provided ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. I highly recommend this venue for anyone in search of a roomy and comfortable spot to throw a memorable party.

It’s situated in a serene area but still provides easy access to supermarkets, banks, and other necessities, striking a great balance between convenience and peace. The food was fantastic, the rooms were tidy and comfy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet retreat in a bustling location.

Denovo is an excellent spot to spend your day. It's calm and pleasant, and the staff members are friendly and accommodating. Viduranga, the manager, was particularly helpful to us. While they don’t have an on-site restaurant, you can order food through Uber or PickMe Food. They also provide plates, glasses, and cutlery, which is quite handy. We had a lovely time and will certainly return.

I spent a night here with my family, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our rooms were charming and spotless. The food was tasty as well. It was definitely worth the price, and the rooftop view was breathtaking. I highly recommend this place! :)

The place is decent, but they charge 7000 per night, which feels excessive compared to other options that range from 4500 to a maximum of 5000 per night. Plus, there was no hot water during my stay.

I recently stayed at the De Novo Hotel in Nugegoda (Delkanda), and it turned out to be one of my least favorable hotel experiences. The room was plagued with a significant bed bug issue. The mattress, bed sheets, and even the pillows were all infested. I began to notice bites almost immediately…
