    Fantastic dining experience in Matara

    This place is absolutely amazing! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the overall setting in Matara. It felt like something you would find in Colombo 7! The Ceylon pasta was INCREDIBLE—I couldn't get enough of it. Their cappuccino was out of this world. I loved the vibe here; they offer both a cozy and a spacious setting. Plus, their chicken is halal and sourced from Krest. The food is halal as well. I also appreciated the service from Feb. I highly recommend this spot, but keep in mind that it is on the pricier side.

    Consistently Great Lunch Spot

    For about two years, I've been attending tuition classes at Matara, but I struggled to find a decent lunch spot. I tried several places, but the food quality was lacking. Then one day, I decided to try Belden for lunch. Since that day, I can’t miss it—everything is fantastic! The food, the service—just wow! I also want to mention the owner; though I've never met him, he comes across as very friendly. I always place my orders over the phone, typically choosing rice and curry, which is incredibly tasty. The food quality has remained consistent since they opened.

    Fantastic dining experience in Matara

    This is one of the best places to eat in the Matara area. I've sampled most of their menu and truly enjoyed every dish, although I wasn't a fan of the cheesecake. They also have a great selection of coffee. The rooftop area opens at 5 pm and provides a lovely atmosphere with a fantastic vibe. The staff is very friendly too. I highly recommend it—10/10!

    Cozy dining with top-notch seafood

    This is a great spot for a nice meal in Matara. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The staff is polite and attentive. Prices are reasonable and really good considering the quality of the food. We tried the Jaffna Prawns and the Seafood Fried Rice, both were excellent. I will definitely return!

    Great Spot for Dining with Friends

    This place is fantastic for hanging out. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is inviting. They have air conditioning, which is a plus, and the customer service is really friendly. The restaurant is clean, and the food is prepared with care. There's a rooftop area where you can enjoy your meal, and they also offer outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable for such a cozy spot. While there isn't dedicated parking, free street parking is available. They now serve cocktails and mocktails, too. The interior is colorful and well-decorated, perfect for taking photos. I highly recommend it for couples, groups of friends, or families. Plus, the rooftop is a nice touch. There's even a private room for groups to enjoy food and drinks together.

    Mixed Experience at Beldon Cafe

    I have mixed feelings about my visit to Beldon Cafe. The atmosphere is quite nice, and the food was flavorful. Unfortunately, it was served cold, which was disappointing. The service also left something to be desired. We were informed that our order would be ready in 20 minutes, but it ended up taking over 45 minutes to arrive. Better communication regarding the wait time would have made a difference. In summary, the restaurant shows promise with its tasty food and pleasant ambiance, but the lengthy wait and cold dishes impacted my overall experience.
