I went to Swarnamahal yesterday, and I was really impressed by the staff, especially Ruchira, the salesman, and the manager, Nauwshard. They provided outstanding service and helped me with my purchase and selection. The environment was incredibly peaceful, and the hospitality was lovely. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. I received a message to meet with the manager to claim a wedding show offer. However, when I arrived today, they completely disregarded that. They couldn't provide a clear figure regarding the so-called offer. One of the rings even had a missing stone. To top it off, the salesperson who assisted us was unenthusiastic and treated us rudely, as if we were forcing him to make a sale! The responses we got were laced with sarcasm, and the overall experience was quite poor. The showroom was empty around 4 PM on August 1, 2025, which reflects their lack of customer service and flawed business practices. I'm really disappointed!

I went to the Swarnamahal branch in Bambalapitiya to see if I could replace the clamp on a gold chain I bought from them less than two years ago. When I purchased it, the sales rep assured me about the clamp’s durability, but I had my doubts at the time. When I explained the problem I was facing, I expected to pay for a new clamp, but the price they quoted was exorbitantly high and completely unreasonable. I inquired whether the new clamp would last at least two years, and I was taken aback by the response: “This will also break. If you want a strong one, use 18K as you wish. It broke because of your bad usage.” The representative had no clue how the clamp failed yet chose to blame me instead of recognizing potential craftsmanship issues. This condescending attitude and lack of responsibility demonstrate how little they value their customers. It’s no surprise that the branch was empty on a Saturday while competitors like Vogue and Raja were bustling with activity. Swarnamahal clearly prioritizes neither customer satisfaction nor quality. I would never recommend them to anyone. If you seek fair prices and respectful service, it's best to look elsewhere.

I was thrilled to visit the Swarnamahal Bambalapitiya branch after quite some time, and the service remained just as great as I remembered from years ago. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Our server, Vimukthi, was both talented and knowledgeable. The manager was very generous with the discounts offered. The hospitality and service were outstanding. Thank you all for a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning the next time I'm in Sri Lanka!
