Disappointing massage experience

I paid 5000 Sri Lankan rupees for an hour-long full body massage. The room was at a chilly 15 degrees Celsius, and I had to lie on the bed without clothes. The oil they used was cold, and during the head massage, I lost around 100 hairs. To top it off, the staff asked for extra money, making me feel like they were begging. My scalp was still sore the following day.

Disappointing service and comfort issues

The technician lacked even the most basic skills. I was charged 5,000 Rs for a one-hour session, but they wrapped it up in just 45 minutes. Although they claimed it was a full body massage, I specifically requested more focus on my shoulders, neck, and arms, yet they only rubbed those areas instead of providing a proper massage. The bed was uncomfortable, and considering the chilly climate, they left other parts of my body uncovered while working on one area, which made me feel really cold. I had to ask for a blanket to warm up.

Gentle Foot Spa Experience

Misleading Pricing and Theft Experience

I visited Sakur Spa on December 25, 2025, around 4:15 PM, and was hit with a 6000 LKR entrance fee. Once inside, a heavyset woman who offered me services revealed that additional treatments would cost 12,000 LKR. After returning to my hotel, I discovered she had stolen money from my wallet. I found this experience to be very deceptive and frustrating. Customers deserve clear information about prices and services upfront to make informed choices. Given this incident, I do not consider Sakur Spa to be professional or trustworthy. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, especially not to tourists, and I certainly won't be going back.
