I'm sharing this review for my friend who recently visited this hotel in Kalmunai. They had an excellent experience! The views were stunning, the rooms were both comfortable and clean, and the location was very convenient. The owner was exceptionally friendly and even offered my friend a ride around the area. Most importantly, it provided great value for the price. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Villa Luxez for a wedding and had a really enjoyable experience. After a long bus ride, we arrived at 4:30 AM and were so thankful to enter a cozy room with the AC already running—what a thoughtful detail! The room and bathroom were immaculate, allowing us to rest well. The manager was extremely friendly and even helped arrange transportation to the wedding venue. I highly recommend Villa Luxez for a cozy and inviting stay!

Nestled on Sri Lanka’s East Coast, Villa Luxez is truly a hidden gem! Our experience there exceeded our expectations. The rooms are not only clean and spacious but also tranquil, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. However, what really makes this place special is the hospitality—the owner is remarkably kind, supportive, and genuinely cares for each guest, making us feel right at home. The setting is serene yet conveniently close to town, plus the complimentary breakfast was a wonderful perk. It's clear that this establishment is managed with a lot of heart. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of comfort, value, and a personal touch. We’ll certainly return!

Villa Luxez is truly a hidden treasure in the area, offering clean and roomy accommodations. We spent a night there during our trip to Kalmunei, and the environment felt safe and peaceful. Mr. Fareed, the owner, excels in hospitality. The welcome drink we were served, a delightful mix of coconut water and lemon, was among the most refreshing beverages I've ever tasted. The access road is somewhat narrow, but Mr. Fareed is there to assist and guide you throughout the journey.

We had a wonderful experience here, starting with a warm welcome and a refreshing drink. We were able to park our tuk tuk in the garage, and our room was spotless. Our kids felt very welcomed, as the level of hospitality was exceptional. Breakfast in the morning was delightful, featuring plenty of local fruits and other Sri Lankan specialties. This place is really great to visit, surrounded by beautiful nature. It looks new and clean overall. However, when we checked the bathroom, it was completely wet. The towels weren’t clean, and it was clear that the bedsheets, blanket, and pillowcases hadn’t been changed as there were a lot of hairs on them. We also had no hot water for our shower at night and there was no toilet paper. The worst part was that there was just one plug point, meaning only one device could be charged at a time. On the plus side, the food is really good.

Last month, I traveled to Kalmunai for work, and I have to say, it feels like one of the safest places around. Their service continues until you’ve completely left the town. I checked out in the morning and headed back to my hometown. Unfortunately, I had a minor accident with a motorbike, and the rider was threatening me, demanding more money. I felt really scared dealing with this in an unfamiliar city. I reached out to the hotel owner, and he promptly came to the police station after my call. He advised me to go home, assuring me he would handle the situation with the rider. I left Kalmunai, and he took care of everything. Mr. Fareed, the hotel owner, truly made us feel like family in this strange town. You won’t find this level of service anywhere else.

I only stayed for one night, but it was a fantastic experience. The beds were comfortable, the towels were nice, and everything was clean and tidy. It's on a quiet street, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. The manager was friendly and efficient, ensuring I had a great sleep before heading out in the morning. Highly recommended!

My stay at this hotel was really disappointing. Despite requesting bedsheets multiple times, they never provided them. The service left much to be desired; there was no complimentary tea or breakfast as promised, and we weren't given the room we were assured of. The television wasn’t connected, the bathroom wasn't cleaned every day, and mopping was infrequent. We spent three weeks there, but the air conditioning was uncomfortable and ineffective. On the first day, I was given a poorly appointed room and was told it was the only one available. In the end, it felt like a total waste of money. The owner acted unprofessionally, and the hotel fell short of even basic standards. I would strongly recommend others to avoid this place.
