We ordered a few dishes; the Biryani was average, but the Pakistan Masala Roti was wow, absolutely delicious! The food came out without the order being properly prepared. After the beef curry, I had to wait a long time for the Naan to arrive. Other than that, it was okay.

This place used to be one of the top spots around, but my recent visit was quite disappointing. I went there for dinner, and it took over an hour for my order to arrive. The service was really lacking, and the food didn't justify the price. It seems that Althab Hut's service has really declined.

I had the mutton dum biryani, but it was excessively spicy and poorly made—totally inedible. When I called to address the problem, the staff brushed it off, stating that the regular chef was absent. The customer service was unprofessional and rude. I left feeling let down by the whole experience, especially since I paid the full price.

I visited this place for lunch with high hopes and decided to try the Hyderabad Dum Biryani. Unfortunately, I was quite let down. The biryani was essentially just spicy curry mixed with rice, and it was extremely spicy, far from what I anticipated. It even seemed like it required three people to mix the meat into the rice. They only provided a small amount of sambal, which made the dish feel incomplete. Additionally, the staff member's demeanor was rather uninviting, as if we were asking for a complimentary meal rather than being paying customers. The portion size was small, and considering the price, it didn’t feel like good value. Regrettably, I wouldn't recommend this place or plan to return.

The food here is excellent, and it’s a charming spot for lunch or dinner. The ambiance is quite inviting, making it a nice place to unwind and savor your meal. However, it leans towards the more expensive side compared to nearby restaurants. Still, the food quality makes it worthwhile. On my last visit, I tried a curd drink, which unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. I’m not sure if it was the curd itself or something else, but I think they should double-check it before serving. On a brighter note, I recently enjoyed fried rice with chicken with a friend, and it was truly tasty. Overall, it's definitely a worthwhile place to stop by!

This was my first time visiting this food shop. On a previous occasion, I had ordered the same chicken wings, but they were of very low quality. The chicken tasted like it had been fried twice, leaving it dry and not fresh at all. I approached the shop owner to discuss my concerns, but he completely disregarded my feedback, which I found quite disappointing. Due to the subpar food quality and lack of attention to customer care, I would rate this place a 0 and I cannot recommend it.

I visited Althaf Hut in Kalmunai around 2 PM and ordered two beef fried rice, one beef dum biryani, and one mixed rice. We ended up waiting over 45–50 minutes, and it was clear that other customers were also getting frustrated with the long wait. 😤 When the food finally arrived, it was incorrect at first. The beef fried rice was decent, but the beef dum biryani had a terrible smell, reminiscent of Maggi noodles, and the mixed rice smelled like fish. 🤣 To make matters worse, we discovered a human hair in our food and a chicken bone in the beef dum biryani. 😅 We couldn't eat it, so we cleaned up, paid, and left. There was no AC, and even after requesting it, they only turned on a fan. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Huhh. 👎

The mixed fried rice they served was just right. It was really tasty and came in a generous portion. I enjoyed both the flavor and the delightful aroma. Even though it’s a bustling restaurant, they managed to serve us quickly. ❤️

I had a really frustrating experience here. I ordered fried rice, but they informed me it wasn't available, even though I saw other customers being served the same dish. The way the staff communicated was quite rude and unprofessional. Given this experience, I can't recommend this restaurant.

We had a rather disappointing experience with the service at this restaurant. After being seated, we waited almost 10 minutes to place our order. Instead of taking our order, a waiter eventually informed us that the tables were reserved and asked us to leave and return later. This should have been communicated upon our arrival, not after making us wait. We decided not to leave, but the staff displayed a very negative attitude towards us. I have dined here before, and I found the pizza and naan to be decent. However, I was let down by the biryani, which was not fresh and had an unpleasant odor. In summary, the service left a lot to be desired, and the quality of the food was inconsistent.
