    It is a good basic hotel. Airconditioning worked well, internet was good. Western breakfasts were ok, no more.

    Fantastic hotel experience

    Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The rooms were impeccably clean, extremely comfortable, and well-kept during our entire visit. The food was top-notch, offering a wonderful variety and high quality.

    Clean Rooms, Disappointing Food

    We arranged half board for 80 guests. The rooms were tidy and roomy. However, the food offered for the half board was quite disappointing. There were limited choices and it lacked flavor. The sambar was too watery.

    Excellent Stay at Hotel Oviya

    I highly recommend Hotel Oviya! I stayed here twice while in the area, and both visits were fantastic. The rooms are clean and roomy, and the service from the attentive staff was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better experience—make sure to book here if you have the opportunity.

    Decent stay with minor issues

    A solid place to stay with satisfactory amenities. I was on the third floor and experienced a few power outages, which left me in the dark at times. However, I really liked the bathroom and the power shower, along with the spacious foyer area.

    The hotel is located right in the heart of town. Our room was quite large and well-maintained. Although the air conditioning was somewhat loud and the remote stopped showing settings, it still cooled the room sufficiently. The restaurant staff were attentive and helpful...

    Incredible stay at Oviya

    We had an amazing experience at Oviya. The staff were fantastic, and the rooms were spotless. Everything in our room functioned perfectly. The food at the restaurant on the ground floor was also outstanding. My husband and I enjoyed our visit while staying in Sri Lanka.

    Mixed experience with staff and breakfast

    The manager has an awful attitude, which was quite disappointing. However, I want to give a big shout out to Mercy at the reception; she really saved the day for the hotel. Unfortunately, the international breakfast was a disaster. I was embarrassed to share it with our foreign friends during our stay.

    Warm welcome at Maharaja Restaurant

    After traveling all the way from Switzerland, we had the delightful experience of dining at Maharaja Restaurant. Despite arriving at 10:00 PM, just when the kitchen was set to close, the staff greeted us with warmth and took the time to prepare a fresh meal for us.
