Our party of 11 had a fantastic time here. The food was tasty, the juices were excellent, and the iced coffee was delightful! A big thank you to Shiraj and the entire staff for the wonderful service. I highly recommend this place!

The place was tidy, but the food fell flat and the portions were quite small. I ordered a smoothie bowl that was decent, though it could have used more granola, while my friend opted for the English breakfast, which didn’t provide enough for a brunch setting. Additionally, the prices seemed high compared to other spots.

This is definitely one of the top spots in Trincomalee, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic. I ordered the mango and pineapple bowl, while my boyfriend enjoyed the French toast (didn't manage to snap a photo, but it was tasty).

I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Trinco. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. I especially enjoyed chatting with the guy from Colombo, who was eager to share information about Sri Lanka. They have a real coffee machine, and the coffee is excellent. I also tried the shakshuka, which was packed with flavor! It came with fruit, but I think that was unnecessary since the breakfast was already substantial. I would suggest adding an extra slice or two of bread instead of the fruit. This might be my best breakfast experience in Sri Lanka so far!

During our time in Trincomalee, we had breakfast and lunch at Saffron Lounge, and we thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions. The menu offers a nice variety, so whether you're after a hearty breakfast, coffee, or a more substantial lunch, you'll find plenty of options. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and relaxed, and the staff members were friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely a lovely spot in Trinco to take a break from the heat and savor a good meal. I would love to return! 😊

We've discovered our favorite cafe at Uppuveli Beach - Saffron Lounge is a must-visit! It's a clean, modern, and comfortable place with lovely furnishings, including nice tables, chairs, and a cozy soft sofa. The cafe features a great Barista machine and beautiful lighting with cool bamboo lamp shades. The food here is simply fantastic! My top choice is the Shakshuka, which is incredibly tasty and comes with toast and a plate of fruit at an amazing price. My wife is a big fan of the Turkish eggs, which also come with toast and fruit. Saffron Lounge serves an excellent iced mocha, and my wife always orders a freshly made mango and banana milkshake, or any fruit combo she likes. Our waiter even made his first milkshake for us yesterday, and it was delicious! This is our third breakfast here; we usually go to Cafe on the 18th, but since finding Saffron Lounge, we’ve switched. They offer the best prices in Uppuveli Beach for the quality and portions of food you receive. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, the best we've encountered in Sri Lanka. Our favorite waiter, Keshara, and the cafe manager, Shiraj, make our visits special by greeting us daily. You won't find nicer people anywhere! We wholeheartedly recommend Saffron Lounge. The chef takes the time to prepare your food just the way you like it. With the best food, location, and prices for quality and generous portions, we’ll definitely return on our next visit to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. You have to experience Saffron Lounge for yourself! I had an outstanding meal today! The food was incredibly tasty—cooked to perfection and bursting with rich, well-balanced flavors. Each bite was delightful, and you could really appreciate the quality and attention that went into it. What really impressed me were the homemade sauces—they were exceptional! Fresh, distinctive, and full of flavor, they took the entire dish to the next level. This was definitely a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it! 😍

The chocolate cake with butter icing is the most indulgent dessert I've ever had! It was spongy and light, and I highly recommend it! 🤎 The cappuccino was also a standout. It was smooth and creamy, with just the right mix of espresso and milk. A definite must-try! ✨
