    Charming lodge near Matale

We spent just two nights, but it was one of our best experiences at this delightful lodge. Nestled in a tranquil area, it's only 7-8 minutes away from Matale town. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful gentleman and his uncle, who took the time to show us around and share insights about the local herbs and nature. He was one of the most genuine people, always smiling and wishing us well. The washroom was very clean, and it had all the amenities you’d expect for a small getaway. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Exceptional service and peaceful stay

We recently spent a weekend at Coffee Cabanas, and I can't recommend it enough. The experience was seamless from beginning to end. The Atmosphere & Rooms: The property is located in a beautifully secluded, green area that offers complete tranquility—just pure peace and a delightful vibe. We reserved both a cabana for the kids and a room for ourselves. Each space was remarkably clean, tidy, and comfortable. The Food: The food was absolutely outstanding! We enjoyed a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast that was delicious and felt just like a home-cooked meal. Outstanding Service (The Best Part!): What really distinguishes this place is the service. The owner and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, highly responsive, and went the extra mile for us. Before we even arrived, they were quick to respond and kindly checked in with us when we were running late. One evening, we brought dinner from outside, and without us asking, they thoughtfully provided everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Since we were there for a children’s competition, the hosts even chanted Pirith the next morning to bless the kids before their departure. To top it off, when the kids missed their ride to the tournament venue, the owner personally drove them there! It's hard to find this level of genuine care and hospitality. If you're seeking a serene getaway with exceptional service, this is the place to stay. We will definitely return!

    Exceptional stay with wonderful service

Coffee Cabanas is undoubtedly one of the best places I've ever stayed. Menuka and his family treat you like genuine guests, rather than just customers. The rooms are stunning and cozy, and the home-cooked dinners were outstanding. A special shoutout to Mr. Menuka and Mr. Madushanka for taking us on an amazing open-top safari to Riverstone and Sera Ella. They were attentive to our safety and comfort throughout the journey, allowing us to enjoy the day at our own pace. The value offered here far exceeds the price. It’s a must-visit, and I highly recommend it!

    A Homely Stay in Matale

Coffee Cabana is truly one of the best accommodations in Matale. From our arrival, we felt warmly welcomed and at ease — it genuinely felt like we were at home rather than just another cabana. The service was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, kind, and welcoming, enhancing our experience even further. The food was excellent, fresh, and flavorful, and the entire place was impeccably clean and well-kept. We had just come from another decent hotel where we didn’t feel comfortable, but from the moment we got our warm welcome at Coffee Cabana, we were instantly happy and relaxed. That kind of hospitality truly made a difference. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay such a delightful one. ❤️ I highly recommend this place if you're seeking a comfortable, clean, and tranquil spot with top-notch service and a homey vibe in Matale! 🌿☕️
