I dined at the rooftop restaurant with friends and found it to be one of the top spots in the area for a nice dinner. The food was delicious, and the cost was quite fair, coming to about Rs. 1200 per person for meals and soft drinks. It offers good value for what you get. They also allow BYOB. The view and atmosphere are pleasant, and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely return!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Hotel Rosenro! From the moment we entered, the ambiance felt warm and inviting. The staff was very attentive, taking care of every detail without being overbearing. Our server was well-informed about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and maintained a friendly demeanor throughout our meal. The food was simply incredible — every dish was flawlessly prepared, featuring fresh ingredients and a wonderful blend of flavors. The presentation was gorgeous, and the portion sizes were ample. I particularly enjoyed the Fish N Chips and Sea Food Chopsy Rice! Overall, the mix of outstanding service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere created an unforgettable experience. I’m eager to return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience!

The location is great, just a short distance from Piliyandala town. Prices are fair, and the room was fairly spacious. On the downside, there was an unpleasant odor in the room. The bathroom was clean, but the hot water didn’t work during our visit. We tried the nasi goreng at the hotel restaurant, but it didn’t meet our expectations. All in all, it’s a decent option if you need an affordable place near Piliyandala, but improvements in maintenance and food quality are definitely needed.

This spot is perfect for hosting parties. Their hospitality and service are excellent, and the modern kitchen is equipped with all the latest cooking tools, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. We had a party for 40 people on the rooftop party hall on the 17th, and it was wonderful with a beautiful view. I want to extend my gratitude to Mr. Shone, the manager, who is very friendly and ensured all our needs were met. Thank you, Mr. Shone and the friendly staff, for making our party a success. The staff and manager were incredibly kind and supportive, assisting me with everything I needed. However, the only drawback is that the rooftop has numerous steps and no lift, which could pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues since it’s about three stories high depending on your room's location. I was on the first floor, so I had to climb several flights of stairs to reach it, but the views from the top are stunning. The food was decent, although the menu options were somewhat limited. Still, the portions were generous, making it a good value for money.

I spent 10 days at this hotel and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. My room was tidy, cozy, and well-kept during my entire stay, making it truly feel like a home away from home. The location was great and made it easy to get around for dining, shopping, or sightseeing. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and I truly valued their attention to detail. I enjoyed a lovely two-day stay at this hotel, and the overall experience was fantastic. My room and bathroom were clean, neat, and well-kept, which allowed me to rest well and handle my work without interruptions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, organized, and helpful during my visit. Although I didn’t eat at the hotel much due to my daytime outings, I did sample the kottu, which was tasty and served in a generous portion—definitely enough for one person! The hotel is situated right in the heart of town, yet the area was surprisingly calm and not too noisy. A special shoutout to Mr. Shaun, the manager, who was always available to help. His leadership is evident in the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

The location is very convenient, providing easy access to Colombo and the southern highway. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The room meets basic needs and is quite a good value for the price. A special thanks to Mr. Shaun, a kind gentleman who goes above and beyond to fulfill any requests. The staff is friendly, and we had a pleasant stay at Hotel Rosenro.
