Comfortable Stay with Authentic Experience

We spent three nights at Perivale Budget Stay and highly recommend it. The spacious living room features a table and sofa area, complemented by a kitchen that includes a refrigerator and a large bathroom with a rain shower. There are two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Every bed comes with a mosquito net, which is crucial given the high number of mosquitoes. We felt very comfortable and were greeted with a warm welcome. We were offered tea and even had our laundry done. We would love to come back. The only drawback is its distance from Colombo city center, but it's easily reachable by bus (under an hour) or train, both being good and budget-friendly options. The benefit of its location is that it provides a true insight into the authentic side of Sri Lanka, away from the tourist crowds.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Host

We enjoyed a clean and cozy room that featured a lovely shared living area, bathroom, and kitchen, where we had access to a fridge, kettle, and microwave. Plus, the tap water was safe to drink. Our host was incredibly welcoming; she even took care of our laundry and prepared us tea! While the mattress could have been better, it was still adequate, and there were mosquito nets over the beds for our comfort. Wi-Fi is on its way. The location is in a safe, quiet neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from bakeries, local dining options, and the bus stop. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

Great stay in Moratuwa

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The Moratuwa area lacks good accommodations, which are often overpriced with low quality and poor customer service. In comparison, this place is fantastic. I spent over two days in two different rooms. They provided us with excellent rooms where we could cook and make our own tea. There's also a refrigerator for storing our items. Plus, there’s a designated smoking area on the balcony, and even if you don’t smoke, you can enjoy the lovely view. The atmosphere is very clean and quiet. I'm really grateful to the host for offering such affordable accommodation and for their excellent communication. I highly recommend this great place for its value.
