Excellent Service for Children's Eye Tests

I took my two daughters to this location for visual tests. I wanted to repeat some tests we had done earlier elsewhere to clarify a few confusions and seek further advice. They didn't conduct complete testing because my daughters are young. However, after the basic assessments and observations, they provided information in a very professional and clear manner, guiding us to the necessary remedies. I appreciate the two ladies who assisted us. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for its outstanding service.

Avoid this place for glasses

I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. The prices are slightly lower than Vision Care, but my glasses were made with the wrong prescription. When I returned to address the issue, a trainee who was unhelpful assisted me, despite the presence of other staff. Eventually, the optician checked the lenses and admitted I was right, but the replacement pair they provided was incorrect as well! After three trips from Hikkaduwa, my glasses are still not right. They didn't offer an eye test during my second visit because the optician was unavailable. I even asked for the manager, but he was 'on leave.' It's been a complete waste of my time and money. I ended up going to Vision Care, where I received a free eye test and got perfect glasses. I strongly advise against coming here if you're looking for professional service.

Exceptional Experience at Wickramarachchi

I’ve never fully liked the selection of frames at any shop until I visited Wickramarachchi Opticians. They offer an extensive variety of choices and a good range of prices. The staff at the Galle branch were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Plus, the time it took to get my glasses was impressively quick. Fantastic service!!

Exceptional service and kindness

During a day trip to Galle, I had a mishap when the leg of my sunglasses snapped off. I stopped by this place hoping they could fix them on the spot. The staff were incredibly accommodating; they repaired my sunglasses in less than five minutes and didn’t even charge me for it. A fantastic experience!

Great service at Wickkramarachchhi

I had a really pleasant visit to Wickkramarachchhi Opticians and Hearing Center in Galle with my 87-year-old father, as we were looking to purchase a hearing aid. The audiology technician was calm and friendly, treating my dad with great professionalism. Although they didn’t have the appropriate hearing aids in stock for his level of hearing loss, she assured me that she would order them and call me within a week. Since I needed it sooner, I ended up getting one from another vendor. Still, I want to commend the staff for their professional service; the stock issue isn’t their fault, but rather something that the management of Wickkramarachchi needs to handle.

Disappointing Experience at Galle Branch

I encountered poor service at the Galle branch. I compared frames and lenses from two different locations, and the service there fell short. They provided incorrect prices and specifications for the lenses. When I tried to reach customer care about this issue, the line was down. It seemed like the employees were untrained or lacking skills that day. I noticed that the most experienced staff member, who was one of several girls working that day, was not welcoming and did not treat customers well. Additionally, the prices and lens specifications were inconsistent, which I verified by visiting another Wickramarachchi branch.
