Disappointing stay at River Front Villa

My experience at River Front Villa Hotel was quite disappointing. I made my reservation online, and the owner insisted on receiving payment in advance, claiming the hotel would be fully booked. Trusting him, I paid half of the total upfront. Upon our arrival, I was taken aback. The rooms were tiny, unclean, and nothing like the pictures portrayed online. I had booked the room for my family, and it was entirely inappropriate for our needs. I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a refund. Initially, he agreed, but then he turned off his phone and stopped responding to me. This place feels like a scam. I cannot recommend it to anyone. Stay away from this hotel — they are untrustworthy and only interested in your money.

Disappointing Experience with Dirty Rooms

What I encountered was far from a villa; it felt like a nightmare. The rooms were filthy and reeked of unpleasant odors. After paying in advance, I arrived only to turn around and leave. It's simply unacceptable to deceive customers like this.

During our stay at River Face Hotel, we had a really unpleasant experience. The rooms were quite small and dusty, and the bathrooms weren't functioning properly, which was really inconvenient. The external noise made it hard to relax, and there was a complete lack of privacy. Moreover, the rooms looked different from the photos, which felt quite misleading. All in all, our stay was uncomfortable and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, be wary of Google reviews; it seems that the same person wrote all the glowing ones.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs

Beware! We booked this hotel through Booking.com and had one of the worst experiences we've ever encountered. The place looked nothing like the pictures shown online. It was very unhygienic, poorly maintained, and felt unsafe right from the start. The hotel requested that we check in before 11 PM, and we arrived at around 10:30 PM, but the gate was locked. Eventually, a strange individual came to let us in, and the parking area felt cramped and insecure. The room and bathroom were shockingly small and appeared to have not been cleaned properly in ages. One staff member immediately suggested another room, claiming it was “better,” which raised our suspicions about the original one. The bathroom was in such poor condition that we didn’t use it throughout our stay. Additionally, the room had large glass windows covered only by thin curtains, allowing outsiders to see right in. Privacy was nonexistent. To top it off, neither the AC nor the fan worked effectively. The overall vibe was uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe, and the staff's demeanor contributed to our unease. We ended up leaving the property after just about 5 hours. If you're thinking of staying here, do so with caution. The reality is a far cry from the online images.

Peaceful Stay at River Front Villa

I had a fantastic time at River Front Villa in Wadduwa. The setting is incredibly tranquil, right by the river, making it ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights of my trip was waking up to the serene view of the water. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped in. The room was tidy, cozy, and well-kept. I would certainly return and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful escape.
