Comfortable stay near city center

We spent a night at this property while heading to Trincomalee. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were able to reach the owner through the phone number listed on Google. The gentleman we interacted with was very friendly and made us feel at ease. The apartment exceeded our expectations, featuring a private kitchen and lounge area. It was modern and clean, equipped with strong air conditioning, a cozy bed, and a nice shower. There was no wifi, but that was fine since we had data. While there was a sheet on the mattress, we noticed there wasn’t a top sheet or blanket, which we managed without by adjusting the room temperature to our liking. The location is excellent, situated near the bus station and the main street of town. The area is quite peaceful, yet there are usually friendly locals around who greet you with a wave and a smile. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place if you're looking for your own space in the city center.

A Comfortable Home Away from Home

Every time I go to Batticaloa, this bungalow feels like my "home away from home." 🏡 During our stays, which usually last about 2-3 days, I really appreciate the hospitality provided by the owner and his family. I also enjoyed their delicious home-cooked meals. 🍜 It's conveniently located near Batticaloa town, making it easy to walk to local restaurants and shops. The rooms and the whole house are tidy, clean, and well-kept. I'll definitely be returning here soon!

Caution Before Booking This Hotel

We had made a reservation at this hotel before heading to Batticaloa. The day prior to our arrival, we reached out to them, but the staff member didn’t mention that he had previously called us to inform us about ongoing renovations. After our conversation, he provided us with the contact number for another hotel, yet it lacked the amenities we were seeking. So, think carefully before you decide to book this hotel. 😪

Great value stay in Batticaloa

I highly recommend this place. It offers great value for money and is perfect for couples, families, or any kind of guest. Situated in a very quiet area, I believe it's one of the best accommodations in Batticaloa within this price range. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. We also had access to a living room and kitchen, which was a nice bonus. I was quite pleased with their hospitality as well.

Well-Maintained Rooms, Limited Staff Availability

The rooms are fantastic—very well-kept and definitely worth the price. I spent 5500/- for a double room with AC, and it was worth every penny. They offer access to a kitchen, an ironing board, and automatic washing machines, with the kitchen fully equipped with utensils and appliances. However, the downside is that staff members are seldom around when you need assistance. You have to call them, and then wait around 10 minutes for someone to arrive.

Excellent stay near Batticaloa Town

We spent a night at this bungalow and had a fantastic experience. Its location is just a short distance from Batticaloa Town. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary items, including a refrigerator. There was also a laundry room that had a washing machine. The owners were incredibly friendly and treated us wonderfully. I would highly recommend this bungalow to anyone.

Exceptional hospitality during tough times

My family and I stayed at SRI Construction Circuit Bungalow for 10 days while my mother had surgery at Batticaloa Hospital. The level of care, treatment, and hospitality from the owner and staff was truly remarkable. When my mother returned from the hospital, the staff promptly changed all the bed linens and thoroughly cleaned everything. It genuinely felt like home for us. Whenever we needed anything, it was provided without us even having to ask twice. We are extremely grateful for the kindness, support, and hospitality we received during this challenging period.
