I purchased a pair of glasses from Vision Care and was impressed with the quality of their products and the customer service I received during my visit. However, I wanted to pay using my credit card through a monthly installment plan. I communicated this to them and they assured me it was fine to proceed with the payment. Later, I discovered that they hadn't properly finalized the deal on their end, forcing me to pay the entire amount to my credit card all at once instead of in installments. I tried reaching out multiple times to resolve the issue, but it was futile. I had been managing my finances carefully that month, and this unexpected charge hit me hard. I had to handle this situation alone, but I urge them to improve their customer service in the future. The most frustrating part was that even after receiving my credit card statement for the month, they claimed it would be corrected but didn’t seem concerned about the trouble they caused me. It’s disappointing to feel like customers are being misled.

This place has a good reputation, and the staff is quite helpful. Mr. Jeremy, in particular, assisted me in finding the right scleral lenses. Even when I received the wrong ones, they were very accommodating in managing the return and arranging for a new pair. However, I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 5 due to the excessively long shipment time of 3 months. It’s unreasonable for a customer or patient to wait that long for contact lenses. By the time they arrive, people have already had to cope without them. Even after the optician communicated with the logistics team, the delivery timeline did not improve. I would really appreciate it if they could shorten the delivery time for lenses. Otherwise, it stands out as one of the best opticians and contact lens providers in Sri Lanka.

I had an incredible experience! The service was prompt, and Samitha was exceptionally helpful—she's both knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and examined me thoroughly. For the first time in my 34 years of wearing glasses, she actually adjusted my lenses for reading small text by providing me a piece of paper with writing on it. No one has ever done that before, and it made a significant difference in how clearly I can read the letters. The office is equipped with modern machines and is very clean. I'm really glad I found this place on the 3rd floor of Asiri hospital, right next to the cafeteria. Thanks once again!

I brought my glass in for repair to the Kandy showroom on April 22, 2026. Since then, I haven't received any updates. When I call, they always promise to get back to me within half an hour, but that hasn't happened. I've had to keep calling and asking. This is the worst service I've ever experienced from Kandy Vision Care. I just wish they would respond to my inquiries.

I visited Vision Care Asiri Kandy Optical today to change my son's spectacle lenses, and it was a fantastic experience. Lakshan, the staff member who assisted us, was exceptional. He was kind, patient, and took great care in handling everything. All the other staff members were also very friendly, greeting us with warm smiles and treating us kindly throughout our visit.
