    Excellent Service at KCC Vision Care

    I received outstanding aftercare service from the KCC branch. My spectacles were damaged due to mishandling, so I brought them to the Kandy KCC Vision Care team to see if they could fix them (I bought them recently, and they were a bit pricey 😉). Mr. Pathum, the technician, did an incredible job restoring my specs to their original shape—so much so that I almost couldn't believe it. Miss Amitha (I’m not sure about the name) also provided great support from customer service. Thank you very much! I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know. Cheers.

    Disappointing service after years of loyalty

    I want to share my recent experience at Vision Care. My family and I have been loyal customers for about 6–7 years, always valuing the quality of your products and the professionalism of your service. Until now, we have had consistently positive experiences. However, during our latest visit to update our spectacles, we faced a very disappointing situation. The doctor who attended us was friendly and professional, but the staff member assisting us throughout the eye check-up and frame selection, Himali, was incredibly rude. What was even more troubling was that her behavior felt discriminatory. She made comments about our clothing and appeared dismissive and disrespectful toward us as members of the Muslim community, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. To make matters worse, after interacting with us, the same staff member was noticeably warm and friendly with the next customer. This stark contrast in treatment felt intentional rather than coincidental, heightening our discomfort. We believe in mutual respect in customer service, and this behavior does not align with the standards we expect from Vision Care. I hope this issue will be taken seriously and addressed properly so that no other customers have to endure a similar experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
