During a challenging time, this home stay offered a peaceful haven for our family. Our room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, surrounded by lush greenery that created a calming atmosphere each day. My wife and I spent three nights at Gampaha Heritage upon our arrival in Sri Lanka, and then returned for another stay two months later before leaving the country. This was our second experience at Gampaha Heritage. Randith and Vijitha have created a lovely, peaceful retreat that's conveniently located near Gampaha town and just a 45-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. Our room was quite pleasant, featuring a full-size glass wall that opened to a small balcony. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom met our needs. We enjoyed the breakfasts, and although there’s a menu for evening meals, we didn’t need that service. Randith and Vijitha have a good command of English. The room price was very reasonable. We would definitely suggest Gampaha Heritage for both short and longer stays.

I spent a month in Gampaha for treatment and stayed at Gampaha Heritage, where I was thoroughly pleased with my experience. The hotel is a lovely, modern structure, and the rooms are quite nice, ensuring peaceful nights. They also provide hot water in the shower, which I’ve found isn't typical in Sri Lanka accommodations. Given my disabilities from my illness, the owners were very understanding and offered assistance whenever I required it. The owner's wife was especially kind, preparing meals for me three times a day due to my dietary restrictions, and she even did my laundry free of charge. If I return to Gampaha, I will definitely choose to stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel.
