    Disappointing doctor consultation experience

    Our consultation with this doctor was quite disappointing. She maintained a significant distance from us and prescribed medication without adequately examining the issue at hand. There was no thorough physical assessment before issuing the prescription, which raised concerns. What was most upsetting was her communication style. She came across as disrespectful and dismissive during the entire consultation. It felt like she didn't listen to our worries and spoke in a manner that seemed rude and unprofessional. As patients, we hope for doctors to be caring, approachable, and respectful, especially when health concerns are at stake. Sadly, this experience fell short of those expectations. We paid Rs. 3,500 for the consultation and left feeling frustrated and overlooked. Given our experience, we cannot recommend her services.

    Disappointing experience at Oshro Hospital

    I was quite let down by my visit with Dr. Dewika Suraweera at Oshro Hospital in Kegalle. The doctor maintained a significant distance from me and did not conduct a thorough examination or assessment. There was a lack of proper consultation, yet a prescription was issued without truly grasping my condition. I anticipated more attentive care, but this experience was ultimately very disappointing.

    Concerns Over Privacy During Consultation

    I was really let down by my recent visit to Dr. Devika Suraweera at Osro Hospitals in Kegalle. I went in for treatment for a skin rash in a sensitive area, but the doctor didn’t properly examine my issue and seemed to lack respect for my privacy. The channeling room lacked a covered or private space, and she asked me to show the affected area right there, only observing it from a distance instead of conducting a proper examination. This was quite uncomfortable and felt unprofessional. I think both the doctor and the hospital need to do more to ensure that patient privacy and dignity are upheld during consultations.
