Overpriced for Tourists
I was charged twice the price for a packet of tablets at this pharmacy. Instead of the 2250, they asked me to pay 4500, seemingly just because I am white and appear to be a tourist.

Great roadside pharmacy experience

Excellent Service in Sri Lanka
As tourists, we experienced outstanding service. The owner communicated fluently in English and appeared very knowledgeable. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that in Sri Lanka, you can purchase only a limited number of pills for certain medications instead of the entire package like in Europe. This approach is not only more efficient but also more cost-effective for customers.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs
I really can't recommend this pharmacy. The pharmacists seem uninterested in addressing your issues, yet they are quick to push medications at inflated prices. For instance, they offered me activated charcoal, which is often used by Russians when dealing with poisoning, at a staggering price three times higher than the typical market rate in Sri Lanka, which is 4,800 rupees. I later found out that the usual price is only 1,700 rupees. They claimed there were no alternatives available, which was untrue, as I ended up purchasing another comparable medication from their shelves. It's disheartening; these women lack empathy and really shouldn't be in the pharmaceutical field, especially knowing that a child needed the medication.
