    Great Beach Vibes, Mixed Drinks

    The cocktails here can be hit or miss, depending on your choice. The Cosmo was just okay! The service was a bit sluggish since it seemed like the bartender was managing everything on his own. However, the atmosphere is fantastic, right by the beach and adorned with fairy lights.

    Beautiful beach location, high prices

    The location right on the beach is lovely, but the prices are outrageous. Paying 2500 LKR for just 125 ml of wine seems unreasonable. It's actually pricier than what we experience in London, where we live.

    Mixed experience with courtesy dinner

    We were invited for a courtesy dinner, and I appreciate that the service was top-notch. However, I was surprised that we had to pay for our drinks, which were just soda water. It makes you wonder about the invite's purpose. Nevertheless, thank you for the hospitality. As for the food, it didn't quite live up to their reputation. If you're looking for the best seafood in town, I recommend Ocean Oasis Restaurant near Fernando's Beach Market.

    Disappointing seafood experience

    The food was just average and felt overpriced compared to other places we've dined at in Sri Lanka. When we inquired with the staff about the freshness of the prawns, we were informed they were ‘from the freezer’—not what you'd anticipate from a beachfront restaurant where you can see fresh seafood being caught. The restaurant's location is beautiful, right by the sea. While the food we had was nice, it didn’t stand out in any way.

    Fresh and Tasty Chicken Caesar Salad

    I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, and it was delicious—extremely fresh. The service was also prompt. While some have pointed out that prices are on the higher side (which I agree with compared to other spots in Sri Lanka), they are comparable to other places in this area.
