Great Food and Value in Ella

Great curry but disappointing Kottu
The curry and rice were fantastic, particularly the gravy on the chicken. We’ve tried a lot of Kottu during our travels in Sri Lanka, but this one didn’t stand out as one of the better options. It was quite salty and had a strong soy sauce flavor. Overall, the rest of the food was enjoyable, but it was a bit of a letdown for the kids since the sandwich and burger choices on the menu were not available. If you’re in the mood for a good curry, I’d suggest this place; the prices are reasonable.

Delightful Home-Cooked Gem in Ella
Last night, my wife and I enjoyed dinner at this spot, trying the Sri Lankan rice and curry vegetarian dish. It was truly a treat! You can really sense the love in the home-cooked style food. In a tourist-heavy area like Ella, this place stands out as a gem and absolutely deserves more patrons.

This was the best Rice and Curry we've tasted in Ella (we've tried three so far). The service was incredibly friendly! The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced.

Delicious curries and great value
I had a fantastic meal here. I ordered the curry and rice taster, and it was truly delightful! The prices are also very fair. The wonderful waitress took the time to describe each curry. My favorite was the jackfruit curry. I'll certainly be back and would highly recommend this place!
