    Fantastic Beachside Dining Experience

    Catamaran Beach Restaurant in Dehiwala is an excellent place to unwind and savor delicious food right by the beach. The setting is wonderful, offering breathtaking ocean views and a tranquil atmosphere. Plus, it’s a BYOB establishment, which is perfect for enjoying your favorite beverages with their tasty dishes. The food is fresh and packed with flavor, making it well worth the cost. The menu has a nice selection, and everything we sampled was expertly prepared. The staff, along with the owner, are incredibly friendly and welcoming, further enhancing the experience. If you’re in search of a relaxed beachside restaurant featuring top-notch service, reasonable prices, and a chance to chill out, Catamaran Beach Restaurant comes highly recommended!

    Decent View but Disappointing Food

    The service was somewhat sluggish, and the food left much to be desired. We ordered four main dishes, but three of them were quite underwhelming. The place is recommended primarily for its stunning sunset views. Weekends and holidays can be particularly frustrating. There's no need to reserve in advance, as walk-ins are welcome. Card payments are accepted, and the drink menu features beer and soft drinks. They also allow BYOB, but there’s no hard liquor on offer. While they don’t sell cigarettes, they can connect you with someone who does, though the prices are a bit higher than usual.

    Delicious Chicken Kottu and Great Vibe

    I stopped by this spot on Galkissa beach for a quick bite and ordered the chicken kottu along with some soft drinks. Honestly, the kottu was so delicious that I can’t stop thinking about it! The ambiance was really nice too, featuring live music and a fantastic atmosphere. The lady running the place was incredibly friendly and welcoming, effortlessly managing everything while still taking the time to chat with me. I absolutely recommend checking this place out! ❤️

    Great Portions and Friendly Service

    The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were quite generous. We ordered two dishes for three people and still had leftovers to take home. As they mentioned, one dish is definitely enough for two. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and every staff member we interacted with was also nice and accommodating! While the prices aren't the lowest, I believe the generous portions justify them.

    Great venue for large gatherings

    I organized a dinner for 30 family members and friends. A couple of months prior to the event, I put down a deposit of LKR 50,000 to secure the booking and pre-ordered enough food for everyone. The staff were incredibly helpful, guiding me on how much to order, arranging tables appropriately, and even setting aside a few vegetarian options for those diners. Everything went off without a hitch and was loads of fun. We also enjoyed some live baila music that was a hit. I would highly recommend this place.
